Tips for Castle Dental

Not going back after this.... I just went yesterday to get my fillings done (3 bottom) and I had a very traumatic experience. The dental assistant was not exactly an experienced one or perhaps she was not having a good day. She was holding the suctioning tube and it slid or she let it go, pushing the drill the dentist was holding. The drill got stuck on the inside of my cheek and it ripped my skin leaving not only a hole but a line shaped scar inside my cheek. It bleed tremendously and this happened at the start of my fillings getting done, so I had to bare with the pain another hour or so. Although my mouth was numb (because she numbed the bottom for my fillings and ALSO the top to FIX some temporary fillings placed last week which were causing me pain - wonder why), I could feel a very deep pain. Aside from the pain, I got really truly scared and it really made me nervous.

I had to miss work for the day due to this little accident, as I was in pain and felt beat up by the experience. Although the dentist apologized and said nothing like that had ever happened before, I have to admit the dental assistants in this office are not exactly trained to the best of their ability to fully assist the dentists efficiently.

To give you more information on this dental office. I personally think most of the staff are not very welcoming. Especially one of the ladies named Elizabeth, which I think is the receptionist. Not only does she speaks with a very ugly tone of voice when you ask questions and have concerns, but she also makes faces and have a body language that encourages you to keep your mouth shut instead of raising your concerns.

I really know that accidents can happen anytime, but never did they offer to give me some sort of compensation for this "accident." The only things I was left with were: a hole on my cheek, a lot of pain, a hard time when eating, and two prescriptions for pain killers and mouthwash to heal my mouth, and of course a BIGGER FEAR for dentists. Let's just say that this dental office has a lot to learn regarding customer service...and better dental assistants staff- INCLUDING the receptionist would not hurt this place.

This was my experience, but it does not mean that the same will happen to you. BUT it is always good to know...Personally, I do not recomend them and will certainly start browsing for a new dental office to go to.

very friendly and knowledgeable. i have been out looking for weeks for a new dental office to start going to. although there were many other dental offices in humble, i came across this Monarch Dental office. as soon as i walked in, the two ladies at the front desks politely greeted me and the lady named lupe, i believe, asked how could she help. i wanted to find out more information on the types of insurance they take, and luckily she named my insurance company. i was excited to hear that this office took my insurance because it was very hard to find an office who did. i also wanted to find out more information on the different plans they offered, so i spoke with the other young lady named elizabeth, she was very knowledgeable about all the plans they had to offer. i also look at how clean the office is and how organzied the staff is. the office looked very neat and well kept. the bathroom was also very clean and that is always an A+. i am so happy i found this place, so now i can start making appointments for my family and i. i have already recommended this dental office to my friends and family.

The most unprofessional office I ever dealt with. This office has the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They manipulate and make you buy services you don't need.

My wife and I went in to get routine check ups and asked they we only get services that are covered by our insurance, after we got our bills we noticed that not all our services were covered. We found out they did x-rays not covered even though we asked that we only wanted what was covered. You also have to buy a $50 bottle of mouth wash regardless if you plan on using it or not.

The worst part of this office is the receptionist, Elizabeth. She lied to us several times about our bills and has not clue what is going on.

Avoid this office unless you're willing to deal with a bunch of thieves.

I felt very comfortable. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process of three visits. I will continue to go to him and suggest that others use him as their dentist as well.

I could count on Monarh Dental. I could count on Monarh Dental. Whether it's major work or something minor, I am treated with kindness and care. I can think of no other dentist to suggest to my friends that Monarh Dental.

Very nice. I took my 4 year old for her first check up. A dentist visit is normally a very traumatic experience for most, (especially me) and they were very nice, professional, explained everything in advance.

Incredible. The entire staff was, as usual, incredible, effecient, professional and attentive to my personal needs. The entire experience was a pleasure...and who can say that about a dentist appointment. I honestly feel that my well being is their top priority.
