Hair is my thing.
You know what I mean, everyone has that one part of their body that they love no matter what. Fat or skinny my hair never let me down!!
Knowing that about me, you now know how picky I am with my hair stylists. When I moved to Houston I searched high and low for someone I could trust with my hair. I've gone to everyone varying in different price ranges from $15-$300 and was never truly satisfied until I went to Marivic.
Here are the many reasons why you should go to her:
1. Her hair is always awesome. That's always been a big thing for me, I've always felt that if the stylist's hair was awesome then they know the look that I am going for. And trust me, Marivic's hair is always amazing!
2. She really takes the time to listen to what you want and make sure you are completely satisfied with the cut and style. She really knows what's trendy and what's in.
3. She's great with long and thick hair. My hair is long and for some reason people always want to cut it way short but with Marivic she can give you that Kim K/Victoria secret model look.

MARIVIC IS GREAT!!!. I have curly big hair! I am half Black and Filipino so its very hard to find a hair stylist who is patient and who is knowledgeable about taking care of my hair. Marivic is awesome! I hate it when people rush doing my hair! It makes me nervous and very uncomfortable. Marivic is very patient and took her time to listen and do my hair properly. I have gone to several stylist and most of them are rushing or just chatting just to get a money and more sales from you. Marivic cares about her clients and wants them to be happy! Absolutely the best!!!. To me, having to find a new hairdresser is scary. However, I found Trung at Gity's Salon and I could not be happier. He always takes his time to make sure that my hair turns out exactly how I wanted it. I've gotten so many compliments on my highlights and cut thanks to him. His head and neck massage during my hair shampoo is OMG...you definitely have to ask for Trung to shampoo your hair!! Besides feeling great when I leave, my hair looks gorgeous as well. First let me say I am very apprehensive about who to let color my hair. I have been growing it out for over a year, and it is very damaged from a previous stylist.
I made an appointment with Trung for the new "Ombre" hair color that I have seen everywhere lately. My experience in the salon was fantastic. He gave the best shampoo, with shoulder and neck massage. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted so he took the time to really listen to what my concerns were and to make sure we were not going to damage my hair more then it already was. I have to say my color came out INCREDIBLE. Honestly the best hair color I have ever had.

Shear. Genius.. Hopefully Bravo doesn't come after me for using their reality show title as the headline for my review, but this salon is amazing! I spent about half a year to a year bouncing around to different hair salons, trying to find one I really enjoyed, and Salon Gity is now my goto salon when I'm in Sugar Land. The staff are the nicest in the world and they really know what they're doing. I went in with damaged colored hair (a diy job) and they taught me what products to use and what would help me keep my hair healthy and alive. I was also super surprised to get a scalp & neck massage while I was there along with the cut and shampoo - my first time getting one with a haircut!
