In Short – One gets the distinct feeling that Lucia's is a haven for wise women, the kind who run with wolves, but it seems to have its share of male clientele, too. Beautiful unique gifts, soaps, art and music

Just being in this little cottage calms my nerves! Great essential oils, candles, chimes and (eww! lots of handmade soaps and bath oils) as well as fresh herbs growing everywhere. They also have a wonderful assortment of hard-to-find new age music and classes. This is a magical shop to find a special personal treat for yourself or a very unique gift for someone else.

Pros: Friendly helpful staff, soothing atmosphere and very unique gifts, herbs, books & music
Cons: A little hard to find but well worth it

I little corner of heaven in Houston

I've been going to this store since they were located on W. Alabama. The minute you walk in you feel relaxed and at home. It always smells wonderful, there's always some wonderful CD playing and they have a wide variety of new age/holistic items available...some whimsical and some very healing to the heart, mind and body. They sell books, CDs, pollished stones, talismans and jewelry, fresh and dried herbs, handmade soaps, lotions and various beautiful trinkets. The reaon I give it a 9 is because the prices have a tendancy to be a bit pricey, especially on handmade items and jewelry. This is a good place to find flyers on various arts and craft related happenings in Houston. Please, don't miss checking this store out!

smells great and feels good too!

Go to Lucia's....terrific scents and a wonderful vibe. Really nice folks run the place. Sometimes selection is lagging, but give it a few visits and they will restock. A definite blessing for our city.
