Over priced. I'm a 30 something lady who has been into Antiques since I was 19. I have tried this place several times and had found absolutely nothing. I live in the museum district and there are many other true antique stores with much better prices and places to park. West Alabama has a few really good ones ;)

This place has ok goods at prices that are way too high. The parking is impossible and quite a few of the people you'll find walking down the street can be scary for a lady alone...not talking about the young people which you'll find in abundance in this always trendy part of town...but I'm talking about the homeless that are mentally ill. My sister and I have both had incidents on different occasions.

If you are going with a group, already parked to eat at one of the great restaurants, and aren't planning to buy but rather kill time...go ahead and enjoy! But if you are actually looking to purchase that perfect piece for a fair price, this is not the place.

Digging around is worth the trouble at this crowded, multi-dealer market where furniture rules the roost.. The Scene
This flea market serves as the anchor of the lower Westheimer Road antiquing strip, with a small warehouse's worth of constantly rotating inventory. There aren't many outright steals, but it's more affordable--with more unique inventory--than your neighborhood department store. And if you can't find something, ask for help: The dealers are friendly (that is, if you can find them, roaming in and out of all that tall furniture).

The Goods
The best thing to scope out, hands down, is a pretty piece of furniture to store your stuff in. From art deco chests of drawers to dramatic armoires to retro rolling bar carts, the place has probably got what you're looking for, all packed in so tight that you may have to turn sideways to navigate the aisles.

Trendy and Cool!. Great bargain, good finds, interesting things and friendly people abound. Bargaining is all around you so plan to spend the afternoon.
