Good stuff!. This is a place where you simply hang out, and drink up. Crowd is on the average 25 and up, and there is always a good time waiting to happen here. This is a low key place to gather at and enjoy a good beer.

Great Inner Loop Hang Out. If you are looking for a place to call your own, then Roeders Pub is your answer. The drink selections are vast - be it a martini that tickles your fancy, a cool mixed drink, a pint of your favorite ale or even a chilled shot of Tuaca or Jagermeister. The bartenders are some of the best I have come across - great at what they do and make you feel right at home. Many a time I have seen a person who has only been in once before be surprised that the bartender remembered what their drink prefence is. If there is an import beer or special liquor you fancy but they don't carry, let them know and Ben and Sandy Roeder will try and take care of you the next time. I have seen previous reviews say that there are a lot of regulars that frequent the bar almost as if that is a bad thing - kind of tells you something about the staff and owners, I think. BIG Houston sports fans, especially Astros. For the smoking sports fan bummed about the smoking ban, you can still enjoy the game, your drink and your cig on the patio out back with a large display screen TV.

Love This Pub. Want somewhere to watch the Astros, Rockets, or Texans (especially the Astros -- apparently a few fanatics there, but that's great!) that is comfortable, friendly, and classy? This is the place. I counted seven screens, not counting the large outdoor screen, and the bar staff is happy to try to accomodate specific viewing requests. This is a nice looking pub with its recycled post-office wood floor and back-bar wood and glass shelves. The bar staff are pros, and the regulars are friendly. Don't count on music during game time, as the game sound will be on. Nice outdoor smoking area (w/screen). Great neighborhood pub.

Great Neighborhood Bar. Great local pub. Roeders has a large beer selection and all the sports you could ever watch. The staff is friendly as are the customers. Trivia on Tuesday nights. Great owners.

Best neighborhood bar. Roeder's is easily the most comfortable bar in town to catch a martini or pint with friends. There is no better place to watch the Saints on a Sunday afternoon while enjoying the best bloody mary in town. The bartender and fresh horseradish are the secret!

Great local bar. Roeders (pronounced "Raiders") is a great place for a few beers after work or for a fun Saturday night with the crew. During the week, it's relaxed with some regulars at the bar, and a few people throwing darts or playing 18 holes on the Golden Tee machine. Late night and on weekends, industry regulars and partygoers drop in to test the staff?s shot-making ability.

There?s a lot of beer on tap and in the bottle?a good around the world selection, especially from Germany. And of course there?s a Jagermeister and Tuaca machine chilling their contents before being consumed strait or with a splash of Red B*ll.

The service is great?all the staff are great people. All in all, Roeders is one of my favorite bars.

Very excellent neighborhood joint.. Great local place with friendly and capable staff and very nice owners. Great beer and drink selections and ALL the games in every sport.

Inner Loop sports bar keeps its neighborhood cred with darts, trivia night and smoker-friendly pation with a giant TV.. In Short
It's hard to point to one specific reason why regulars of the convivial 30-something variety love this place. Could be the full sports packages including all the Astros, Texans, Rockets and college games plus Pay Per View and UFC events. Might be the darts, well-stocked Internet jukebox or the fiercely competitive trivia nights on Tuesdays. Whatever it is, this fan-friendly neighborhood spot has one of the best patios around, complete with a great big projector screen and nightly drink specials.

Comfortable and Familiar. When you walk in, you are warmly greeted by great bar staff and out-going regulars. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. Trivia Night on Tuesdays is even challenging enough for the Mensa-minded! I've been coming to Roeder's for about 4 years and know it is a safe pub where there are friends to be met and old friends to meet. My girlfriends and I can meet to drink and talk and know we are well looked after. One of my requirements is good parking, and in 4 years I've never gone wandering for a spot. There are wonderful restaurants near by that are happy to deliver! Most importantly Sandi and Ben, the owners, and the bar staff are like extended family who are always happy to see you! Roeder's is more than worth stopping by...it is worth staying!
