The Hobbit Cafe has been serving Houstonians for over 32 years. We have a unique restaurant which serves some of the best cuisine in town. Try our black bean nachos, monterey jack cheese, pico de hallo, jalapenos and sour cream. The Gandalf sandwich (avocado and mushrooms under melted cheese), avocado burger, buffalo burger and black bean burger are very tasty. Try the Caribbbean Salmon, grilled with spices and topped with…

hobbitually disappointing

Here's the problem: the food here tastes like something I could make myself with basic ingredients from an average grocery store. And my cooking, I must disclose, is amateurish and unsavory. I'm artless in the kitchen--as are they. Plus, this place should be bigger on hippie / vegetarian / raw food stuff.

I have been eating @ the Hobbit Hole Cafe

for 25 years. The food is Fab!Tthe Hot Spiced Tea is off the chain! The Ambience is very Middle Earth.! Anytime I am asked to recommend a resturant by new or old friends visiting the Houston, TX area the Hobbit is always #1 on my list.
