Amazing Burger Place. If you are looking for a perfectly cooked burger the way you want it then this place is for you. Although 8-11 for a burger is not necessarily cheap, it is worth it for the quality.

The service is always fast and friendly and the food is always good. We are regulars and so far have never had a bad experience at this place. So if you are craving a burger that tastes like a proper burger, and not some disguisting mcdonalds stuff then choose this place.

CitySearch Editorial Review. The calling card of this homegrown Houston chain is the burger. Its half-pound patty is ground in house and grilled-to-order on mesquite wood coals, which is why locals have been loyally naming it among the best in the city for years. Other menu items include seared ahi tuna and a center cut filet and the fries are handcut with the skin on. The twist is that the ambiance is decidedly fast food despite the quality of the fare and the price is higher than you’d expect at a joint with a drive-thru. Some Houstonians grumble, others can’t get enough.

Great Food even better service!. I been 2 or 3 times on weekday evenings and have tried diffrent menu items, burgers, ahi tuna, shakes and the fabulous fries. The food is always excellent. What I'm most impressed by is the staff. They are the most friendly group--they are always upbeat and positive--and really seem to enjoy working there. There is a friendly greeting the moment you walk in,when you place/pick up your order and when you leave. The restrurant is always clean. I haven't tried the drive thru--I think I would miss the counter service too much. The owner needs to work hard to retain those employees. There are a lot places for good burgers in Houston but I doubt you will find better customer service anywhere.

Best hamburgers!. Becks Prime > Bubba's Burger Shack > Prince's Hamburger > Fuddruckers

Wow, I've eaten hamburgers all over America and this place is by my fav although I am no food afficionado. I thought In-N-Out in California made the best burgers followed by Conway's Red Top in Colorado, but in Texas, Dirty Martin's in Austin and Beck's Prime in Houston hands down!

I love local favorites that identify one place only. And this is Houston's hamburger-baby. Upscale (with a feeling you've been whisked back to the late 80s/early 90s with said decor) and authentic American hamburger. I always get their classic Cheesburger, french fries (better than Niko Niko's imo, fresh and big cuts of potato lo) along with a dessert portion (8 0z.) Vanilla milkshake (made with real buttermilk, this is sinfully rich drink has maybe 50% sat fat and this is the 8 0z cup only). No friend of your wallet or heart, this fantastic restaurant should still be an essential place to eat on your monthly list. Highly recommend!

Best fast food!. Great food, Especially thier french fries!!! SOOOOO GOOOOOODDDD!!!!!

Their chicken is just ok... but everything is AWESOME!!!! All Beck's Prime's seems to live up to this standard.

Tastiness!!!!. My boyfriend and I are addicted to this place! It is almost always the first suggestion on where to go for lunch or dinner. He loves the BP Burger and I go for the Bacon Cheeseburger. Their fries are pretty yummy too!

Delicious burger. Classic good burger and fries. Great hickory cheese burger Don't go there if you are on a diet. Burger's good and juicy, fries fresh. If you want to go over the top split a dessert portion shake.

Best burger around. Beck's burgers taste SO good, reminds me that meat had flavor when I was a kid. My new favorite is the Bunless burgers (the Kitchen Sink, why would you need bread). I can't believe the rating for this location is 7.1 - it's a 10 to me.

best quick and fresh. Great staff that seems to have been there forever.

The food is always good. Love the mesquite grilled steak sandwich.
