Escape the pressures of office life with our savory lunch special

  • Thai, Asian & Vietnamese Food
  • Low fat dishes and fine wine
  • Gift certificates

Welcome to Mai Thai Restaurant. I have put together those dishes that have proven to be most popular with American taste on the New York and California coasts.

The heart of Thai Cuisine is the curry paste, with its variety of flavors and styles. Steamed white rice, the staple part of the Thai meal, blends the spices to delightful consistency. Beer or wine goes well with Thai food and I maintain a full selection for your dining pleasure. There is no MSG (monosodium glutamate) in any of our dishes. If there is a dish on our menu that you would like to have it vegetarian style, please let your waiter know so that we may prepare it for you.

We are well aware that you have your own preference of the level of spices in your food, so please let your waiter know so that we may help you enjoy your meal and stay with us today.

Editorial Review for Mai Thai – by Joshua Hinsdale

In Short
Authentically inspired and heartily spiced Thai food is served up swiftly at this quaint and comfortable eatery. A raised ceiling keeps diners from feeling too cramped and the white-linen tablecloths give an air of elegance to the otherwise simplistic dining room. Diners sample spicy soups and curries, salads and seafood. House favorites include the cashew chicken, deep-fried fish and the seafood clay pot, which is served hot and spicy.

All I can say is wow! I pass this restaurant every day on my way to work but never thought to stop in to grab a bite to eat. My co workers and I wanted something different today and Mai Thai was thrown out as an option. We were a little concerned that it would take longer than or allotted hour for lunch, boy were we surprised! We were in and out in no time! Now about the motivation for going there; the food was phenomenal and the price was even better! We all had the lunch specials which from what we were told were customer favorites taken from the dinner menu. I can’t wait to go back but this time for dinner and some wine. There wine selection is extremely large for an oriental restaurant especially for one its size! Great find, I’m just sad I hadn’t stopped in sooner.

Pros: Quick service with Great food

Cons: Parking lot = Car pool

I don’t usually write reviews however I felt the need to write one for Mai Thai! The food and attention to detail is exceptional; there really is something for everyone there. If you don’t like the ingredients of a dish they will gladly omit it or try to in the case of naturally spicy dishes. I like curry but can’t eat spicy foods and since curry is naturally spicy the owner actually made a “not too spicy” version for me and I loved it! Even though the restaurant was buzzing with people she made me feel as if my daughter and I were the only two people there! She even spent a few minutes with my daughter and helped her picked a lucky bamboo plant. They have made a customer for life.

Pros: Perfect for a casual lunch or romantic dinner

Cons: Parking and closed Sunday
