“great atmosphere”
“The atmosphere is very nice, the bar drinks are well done, the food is good, however the guacamole was a bit fermented, I hated the jalopeno juice in it.”
“and pico de gallo, plus huge chunks of their fabulous chicken fajita meat, all in a tasty, spicy broth (w/ crispy tortilla strips on top, of course).”
“If you want quality mexican food with great service this is the place to be.”
“waiter recommended this place to me which is usually a good sign.”
“think the marg's are a little over priced, but over all it is a good place to go and enjoy some very good fajitas and company!”
Pappasito's Cantina, famous for Legendary Tex-Mex, has the look of a border town cantina and the feel of a fiesta. Pappasito's serves up
our legendary sizzling fajitas, hand-crafted margaritas and some of the best chips and homemade salsa north of the Rio Grande.
We never compromise on quality. All of our mouthwatering dishes are made in-house daily from only the freshest ingredients. We offer traditional Tex-Mex items like nachos, enchiladas, tacos and handmade tamales as well as delicious specialty items like our succulent filet mignon fajitas, tender pork ribs, or our famous shrimp brochette.
You can always find the fiesta in our full service bar! We’re famous for our Margaritas - each handcrafted to perfection! All of our juices are hand-squeezed daily from the freshest fruit. Open for Lunch & Dinner, offering To-Go as well as private Party Rooms at many of our locations.
…
I have been to most pappadito's in Houston area, I like the service the best at Kirby location, it is worth the drive.
My entree was a hot mess!. Pappasito's Cantina has been a favorite for years but the last time we dined there the service was so slow that my husband had to beg the hostess for chips. We love the table side guacamole as always but my entree was covered in gross yellow melted cheese. It was sloppy and badly presented with rice spilling over the side. Not sure if I will go back.
Beware!. While having dinner our rental car was broken into! Our suitcase was stolen. According to police and an employee, it is not the first time. Beware! There is no security. The restaurant was less than helpful and literally told me, "Houston is a big city and these things happen". Don't let it happen to you by not going there!
Great place.
A waiter recommended this place to me which is usually a good sign. My family and I were not disappointed. We were immediately seated. The service was very quick and polite. Once we were served the food was terrific.
If you are looking for a quite place for you and your significant other, go somewhere else. If you want quality mexican food with great service this is the place to be.
Yummy Fajitas!!!. The Fajitas are great!!! The service there is good, but not excellent. I think the marg's are a little over priced, but over all it is a good place to go and enjoy some very good fajitas and company!
great atmosphere.
Not the greatest host staff ever, but it'll do... The atmosphere is very nice, the bar drinks are well done, the food is good, however the guacamole was a bit fermented, I hated the jalopeno juice in it. I had quails, and they were exceptionally GREAT. Best quail I had anywhere.
Will definitely be back and bring people.
GREAT Customer Service!. We've eaten at this location a couple times and the food is great, as expected. But what really made me happy was the experience we had when ordering takeout. We ordered two salads, and my boyfriend drove over, picked them up, and returned home. We discovered that neither of our salad dressings had been included (and when all you order is salad, this is a pretty big oversight). We called and explained the situation, expecting to be given a small discount or a free dessert on our next visit. The manager, I think her name was Holly, actually voided the credit card payment and gave us our meal for free. Totally unexpected, and we felt the situation had been more than rectified. Now *that* is how you manage a restaurant! We went from swearing them off forever to liking them even more than before.
LOVED IT!!!. So, my partner and i always like to go eat at mexican restaurants. we went to this one last week and ordered the pappasitos grill, awesome! we also had the cevice', it was very fresh and tasted great as well! great happy hour specials too!
Always awesome. Its hard to beat Pappasitos, you will always compare other mexican food to the standard which is Pappasitos.
