“Fun atmosphere, excellent service and phenominal food.”
“Their deserts are less than ordinary, and their service is unacceptable.”
“But even better than the food is the service---From the valet guy who always wears a big smile, to Kim and company greeting you at the door, to the outstanding bar service from Dan and Shannon, and to the multitude of experienced and friendly servers.”
“The food is ALWAYS delicious, the service is ALWAYS terrific, and the atmosphere is ALWAYS fun and lively.”
“The service is swift and everything I've had on the menu is excellent (even the pizzas).”
“Carrabba's is a great restaurant for Italian food.”
“Excellent food and service and both.”
“Excellent value for price.”
“The service was bungling a bit, drinks a little slow, wrong salads, wrong drinks.”
Nice lunch. We had a great lunch experience Here, our server was nice, the outside patio was wonderful especially if it's a pretty day, price is reasonable and food was good.
I will not be in a hurry back!!!. Visited this restaurant last night and I was ill after it. I ordered the Calamari (starter) as my main course. I knew the shrimp was not fresh - but I did not want to say anything. Such a pity because the hostess was lovely, our waiter was extremely nice - but I think it is probably best to stick with something that has to be cooked from order - play safe.
Not the Same as Other Carrabba's.
I know that River Oaks as a certain love for the off beat, but when I go to a restaurant that is a chain I have a certain expectation that I will be able to get some of the same favorites as another in that chain. Not at this Carrabba's.
Carrabba's is an Italian Restaurant, but this one does not have Caesar Dressing, no really I LOVE Carrabba's Caesar dressing. I normally get their Caesar Salad, so imagine my disappointment when I could not get it there at all.
Now I did get another item and it was good, but their menu is completely different from that of a normal Carrabba's restaurant. The food was good, but not Carrabba's.
Moral of the story...if you want good somewhat Italian food, it is good. If you want Carrabba's Italian food, this location is not for you.
Great atmosphere & food.
The atmosphere was family friendly. We had reservations so we were seated right away. Our waiter, Mr. Carrabba himself was very helpful and knowledgeable. The food was so so exquisite. I rate the service to be A+.
Although the other locations are not as good as this particular location. I recommend 3115 Kirby Carrabba's only.
Wonderful Food and Friends.
The food is great. Period. The service was bungling a bit, drinks a little slow, wrong salads, wrong drinks.
All taken care of pretty quick. Only reason I mention it was because it was so many times.
Our table was near the kitchen and so we were nearly shouting to be heard a couple of times. The restaurant was very busy so I attribute it to that. An affable waiter that was a bit distracted. In spite of that he did his job and we did tip in the 20% range.
First time there and was impressed with the taste and quantity of our food choices.
Would recommend to anybody.
Good but not Great!!!. This was my second trip to Carrabba's. I went a couple of years ago and was greatly disappointed; however, after receiving a gift card...I decided to give them one more try. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The food is just as bad as it was a couple of years ago. I don't understand why so many people flock there...I'm assuming it's because of habit, it definitely can not be because of the food. If you want good pasta, go to LaStrada. Everything I have tried there is excellent and the prices are comparable to Carrabba's. You won't be disappointed and feel like you have gotten ripped off.
Got very sick from this location, careless cooks.. Awful. We went here specifically to get the Italian wedding cake, which we like. They didn't have it, but we went ahead and had dinner anyway. However, the chicken bryan wasn't cooked at all and so we had to ask them to take it back and cook it some more. We over looked this and went back the next night because I was craving the Carrabas wedding cake. Again, they didn't have it, but what I did get was very sick from their meat sauce and sausage pasta! 3 days later I stll have fever and I am throwing up. I hate to pay 60 plus 10 dollar tip for two people and then have them give me some old awful food that we had to throw before even getting home because of the stench in the car. Really peeved about this. Missing work and contemplating going to the hospital.
