“The food is good, but could be improved and the ambiance is mediocre, being that it's always loud unless you plan to dine M-Saturday 2-4pm.”
“The food is pretty good: I love the jalapeno cream dip and chips!”
“Overall, this place has good value - $25 for 2, no drinks (hey, it was lunch!)”
“The food is pretty good: I love the jalapeno cream dip and chips!”
“They have a ton of tex-mex sauces, which allows a good variety on how the enchiladas and other dishes will taste.”
“Otherwise, nice place!”
“Food is still great, and cheap, but we will never go back.”
“We usually order the 911 Hot Plate, but all the menu items are excellent: we've never been dissapointed, and the wait staff is routinely cheerful and attentive.”
“If you want to eat somewhere for a good price and good food, Chuy's is a great place to go.”
“If you're trying to discover a great resturaunt for a first date, hanging out with your pals, or just in for a quick drink, this palce is it!”
Thank You, Thank You Very Much.
Our family went the other day just before the dinner rush.
The service was great, I had the number 2 combo of different enchiladas, filling and delicious - it's a great way to check out all the enchiladas at once.
The tres leches is was very good. I felt ike I must have gained 5 pounds by the time we left.
We definetly got our money's worth.
I would recommend trying to get there before or after the lunch or dinner rush. It will be a much different/better experience.

Not Impressed..
After eating with my family we found one or two good things about the food on our table, but the rest was comparable to Taco Bell. I had a fajita beef buritto, could not taste any beef, almost all beans, same for my daughter's chicken buritto, it was all beans and could not taste the little pieces of chicken in it either.
I believe the mid-grade food is hidden by the awesome concept created by the company. Great place for margeritas and nachos, but not so much a dinning experience.
Might have to try at lunch.. Recently went after many people recommended the place. We liked the ranch style dip, flautas, and tacos. Not fond of the fact that everything they have that is fried is made out of flour tortillas and not corn. The service was ok. We (a family) were put next to a table of 10-12 loud mouthed, drinking patrons who could not stop screaming and talking loudly. We had to box everything up and take it home because they were so annoying that they made everyone's night miserable. We mentioned it to the waitress, who seemed very flippant and was trying to take up for them. Took forever to get water initially, but they plunked down the chips and hot sauces. The decor and atmosphere was great, but the clientele and service.. not so much.
Creamy jalapeno ranch - oh my!. It's the only reason I go to Chuy's. The food is okay, but the creamy jalapeno ranch is to die for! Since I usually go for dinner I have to eat more than chips and dip. My faves are the muchos tacos (Thursday special) and the green chile chicken taquitos (everyday special). The service is hit or miss. We don't like being seated in the last booth by the restroom, but 4 out of 5 visits, they try.
A Total Taste Party!. The new Chuy's just opened in Webster this past week, at I-45 South and Nasa Rd.. We contributed to the Grand Opening party by attending their first Friday night in business, for dinner. And Wow, what a party! The restaurant was packed with excited, happy diners who were equally happy as I was, to find a new Chuy's in their neighborhood. Chuy's has about a half-dozen or so hot sauces that you can request for free, with chips at your table. We loved the creamy cilantro and the regular tomato-based spicy hot sauce served at the table. Try the Comida Deluxe plate, or the Elvis Presley combo plate; they are both excellent and are topped with more enchiladas, tacos, cheese and food than any one person can handle. The margaritas were great, and the bartenders were friendly. The manager made a point of greeting us at the table as we first sat down at our booth. Our waitress was very friendly and on top of her game; she did not miss one beat in the tempo of serving us promptly and efficiently. The food was served fresh, burning hot, full of flavor, and at a reasonable price. The only question is, can this new Chuy's keep up this level of service and excellent food quality consistently? We'll see.
Great place.
Was recommended Chuy's by some friends. Loved it. Waiter recommended the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and it did not disappoint. I'm drooling about it just typing this.
While I really like Pappasito's, this place gets a higher rating because of the quality of the chips and salsa and price. The ranch jalapeno dip was awesome!
I want to go back before we head home to Ohio!
YYYY UUUU MMMM!!!!.
Service always good, food always good, friendly casually setting. I even worked there when I was in college. I STILL love the place even seeing the way things are run from the back end.
Best sauces, chips, everything.... - The absolute best in Tex-Mex!
It's busy for a reason!.
There's a reason Chuy's is always busy -- because it is SO good. But even at a busy lunch hour, you'll still get taken care of as quickly as possible.
And the food is definitely worth the wait! The portions are huge, so you get a ton of bang for your buck. That said, don't over-order, and try splitting dishes with friends.
Everyone's friendly, food's delicious -- a great casual meal spot!
