baby roaches. For years, my family has been ordering fajitas from Ninfa's for our big family dinners. This ended the day it was delivered and a baby roach crawled out of the bag when the delivery driver handed it to me. He offered to go back and get all new food, but we preferred a full refund and never ordered from there again.
Infestation. As I was eating lunch there with a coworker, something crawled across the bench she was sitting in. We tried to overlook it since this is Texas so we just asked to be moved to another table. The staff was nice enough to bring us fresh new drinks and chips after moving us. We tried to enjoy the remainder of our lunch when we noticed several other creepy crawlers in another booth on the bench. We asked for the manager who informed us that they "have an issue". He didn't apologize but did say we didn't have to pay and repeated that they "Have an issue". So, if they are aware there is an issue with crawlers, they need to correct it immediately! If there were that many brown crawlers in the eating area, imagine the kitchen
Rude service to loyal customers.
My fiance had been going to this Ninfa's location for two years once a week. We loved the food and drinks and were always polite to the wait staff and tipped well.
We came in as usual one day after work, and they asked to see our IDs (fine, we are in our mid-20s). However, they refused to serve us because we have out of state licenses. I might mention this was the week of the rodeo, so I hope they didn't turn everyone away who was from out of the state!
We couldn't believe it. They didn't recognize us? They had seen us dozens of times and served us alcohol on almost every visit. Keep in mind, we weren't ordering pitcher after pitcher. We just wanted to have a few beers!
We asked to speak to the manager, who was apathetic.
We left and never will go back - to that location or any other.
Cafe Adobe is our new favorite Mexican place. I recommend the fried avacado and margaritas, and they won't turn you away if you have an out of state driver's license!
Good place for breakfast. We enjoy breakfast at Ninfas. The prices are reasonable and the food is always - always - hot and fresh. This Kirby location is one of a few Ninfas to serve breakfast. The only downside is that they open at 9am, which can be late for breakfast. They serve comp. Mexican breads and then the green & red sauces with chips at 11am. Come early and you won't get the chips. We enjoy the Mexicana plate, which like the other entrees is much too much to eat. We recommend highly.
We love this restaurant!. This is the favorite restaurant of me and all my Rice friends! We love going to Ninfa's for the excellent service, delicious food, cool ambiance, and good prices! Ninfa's is a great place to go with your friends for a good time and a delicious dinner.
Dirty and disgusting. This place is dirty and disgusting. It was crowded so we thought it was good place to get tex-mex food. We should have been warned from the beginning from the strange smell when we first entered the restaurant. We were seated right away but had to wait for them to clean our table. Then we were handed menus that were covered in old salsa and looked like they had not been clean. The restrooms were filthy and upon returning to the table after a trip to the filthy restroom, a rodent ran across the floor. Several tables saw it as well and reacted. We explained to the waitress why we would have to leave and she seamed surprised! We will never dine at this restaurant!
