APAC has been a staple in the dance community since 1988. Since opening its doors, the success stories have florished!!!! A very high precentage of APAC dancers are accepted into the High School of Visual and Performing Arts. If not attending HSPVA, APAC dancers find themselves at the top of area dance teams and programs. Recently, an APAC dancer was accepted into the famous Juilliard School. Only 12 women a year out of the entire WORLD are taken and one of Houston's own has been training there for the past 2 years. All the dancers I know that have trained under Paula Abbott are either: dancing professionally, directing highly successful high school dance teams, or are still teaching themselves. This just proves the commitment to continuing the excellence of dance. APAC is the only studio in the US to win 8 consecutive Grand National titles and continues to push the envelope choreographically. If you or your child is interested in having a serious dance career this is the place to go. Other studios in the area are also great, but APAC will truly prepare you for the professional level...not just to excel on your high school dance team. The staff is very passionate and knowledgeable.
