Go to the Special Showings. Sometimes, local magazines will host parties here which makes it a more social activity. 002 Magazine hosted a concert series, and my mom and I really loved it. Drinks and tix were on the house.

They also run specials on Facebook, so follow them.

okay place. This is a different atmosphere to go for a movie. But unless your ordering simply cookies or popcorn your banking the bank. the worst pizza you will ever taste cost 10 bucks. its a small personal pizza. the burgers are good, just expensive as well. The service takes a while. I had my light on for at least 40 minutes b4 i got a re-fill on my drink. by that time the movie was 5 mins from being over. so they took it off my bill, but still that was a simple task.

Great food - Great servers - Poor Customer Service. We visited the Copperfield location last night to watch "The Secret Life of Bees". The movie was wonderful, and the food - and food servers - were excellent in every way. HOWEVER, we - and many others in our same movie suite - were SORELY disappointed by the CONSTANT roaring of a sound system for the movie in the NEXT suite (adjoining ours) all during the showing of "our" film. This was a very tender movie, but the experience was totally spoiled by "speed racing or jet engine-type roars" obliterating the sound and interfering with the intended impact of our movie's special "moments" all through the showing -- truly objectionable. Intermittently through the film we could hear viewers' exclamations of "This is rediculous!" My husband went out to complain to an assistant manager wearing a white shirt in the hall, but nothing suitable was ever done. When the movie ended, one of the managers was summoned by front desk staff to address a whole group of unhappy moviegoers - not only us - there were about 6 or 8 altogether - who expressed frustration and wished to lodge a complaint. He said he "truly apologized" but did absolutely nothing else - he simply gave us a business card for the CEO, turned abruptly on his heel and left. VERY poor customer service in my opinion. We would still go back, but not to see any other "serious" film - only something loud for which we wouldn't mind noise. Note: We could even hear the same roaring, while we were standing out in the FOYER attempting to discuss the problem with the manager! Ick!

Unique Seating. Great Movie Theater the food was quick and I haven?t seen a restaurant and movie at the same time. It saves time getting up and comfortable seating with plenty of leg room :-) I brought my daughters? friend and they ordered pizza they also had a great time. The sounds was intense my only grip was one guys head in front of me was blocking the bottom of the screen otherwise a great experience.

First-run movie studio in Northwest Houston for food, films and family fun.. In Short
Skip the sticky floors and screaming kids and enjoy a movie night with leather reclining seats and a cold beer or cocktail. Moviegoers enjoy first-run movies at regular movie theater pricing with the added benefit of a full bar and varied menu. The food runs toward classic American with burgers, sandwiches, wraps, chicken tenders, pizza, quesadillas, salads, finger-friendly appetizers and a kids' menu. The bar serves premium draft beers, wine and specialty cocktails. Popcorn is still available.

Worst service and food I have ever had!!!. When we first got there, I thought it was nice. We placed our drink orders and it took a while to get them. We placed our pizza orders at the same time and an hour or so later we were hunting down someone to tell us when we would be getting them. I turned my coaster light on and 45 minutes later, we were still waiting on someone to come help us. Had we not gone to look for someone, we would have never seen another waitress/waiter after the initial order. They FINALLY brought out only two of the three pizzas we ordered right before the movie was over. After all of that, and the pizzas being only luke warm, the manager would only deduct half off the pizzas only, not the bill. Sorry place, food and service. I will NEVER go back. Alamo Drafthouse is the best!

Is it really the best?. I've been to Studio Movie Grill twice before tonight. The two times prior, I mentally noted that the sound was extremely loud in the theatre. I also noted that the food is mediocre. I prefer the food at Movie Tavern much better. I do like Studio Movie because more families come and not so many loud teenagers. Tonight we came, and drove out there looking to see the 10:35 showing of a film. Upon arrival we were promptly told that because we had our 2 month old son with us, we could not see the movie. Had we been told prior that there was a policy that 2 and under cannot see movies after 6pm, we would have stayed at home. I think that this is a very preposterous policy, and discriminatory at best. What would a 2 month old hear? It is still up in the air if I will be returning again, however.

We love this place!. This is a fabulous place for a date or a family outing! Initially I was concerned that the restaurant aspects of it would be distracting, but they are really not. It's fun, it's different, it's a great place to spend an evening!

If you want to order food with your movie go early by about 30 mins. to get that ordered and on the way. The service is not always fabulous, but they are trying. Forget going on Friday nights, those are taken over by teenagers (where ARE their parents?). Saturday nights are great, any other time but Friday nights is great. They also do inexpensive Summer Movies for kids for $1 per child and $2 per adult. You can add a pizza lunch in on that too for like $4.99.

It's a very fun place to see a great movie!

My new favorite place!. The margaritas and pizza were great. Comfortable seats, great sound and picture. The staff actually cared that I was there. My new favorite place. I wish they had one closer to me.
