Not as good as the others. I've eaten at a few other Cracker Barrel locations and am always impressed. This one, however, was lacking. The portions were not that great, the waiter was rushing through his job and our meal, and the coffee was mediocre at best. The food did taste pretty good as it usually does at Cracker Barrels but I was still hungry afterwards. The waiter seemed to be in a rush to get somewhere and was trying to get finished with us. The coffee: when someplace has there own special blend I expect it to to be fairly good. This was not. I think the blend was good but they prepared it wrong. There was a heavy water taste to it.

Next time I feel like eating at the Cracker Barrel I will avoid this one and head across town the the North location.

Originating in Lebanon Texas, this country store and restaurant has branched out all over the U.S. The décor includes old advertising signs, farm equipment, early kitchen appliances and photos which complement the country-style seating. Their menu includes home-style comfort foods like meatloaf and house-made mashed potatoes daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to stop into the gift shop for souvenirs and a variety of knick-knacks.

Great Breakfast!. No matter where you go, this chain is always true to their food & quality service. If you've never experienced their breakfast, you just haven't lived. Even if you have to wait to be seated, the store will keep you busy shopping to pass the waiting time quicker. This one in Katy can be missed coming off I-10, so drive slow on the Exit not to pass it up.

10. I enjoy dining at Cracker Barrel with my family. It has a great atmosphere and good old fashion home cooked meals. We get to eat out and know that we are eating healthy.
