A Great Stepping Stone!. Hello to everyone reading this. I apologize for all of the negative comments about my school NWEC. I am elated to be a current Computer/Office Specialist student here! I have learned so much about computers, computer programs, filing, learning to type, how to create slide shows, graphs, charts and so much more. The things that I am learning can be used not just in the office but in my life if I chose to (like graphs used to keep track of my bills and as I clean up my credit report I can write the dates in for every payment.This school is providing anyone who wants to invest in themselves the opportunity to do so. However you must be in school, be on time, do the work, participate, dress appropriately and be respectful of all the staff and fellow students. You MUST REALIZE this is starting you off to a career the professional world not a tidbit job on the corner so if you do decide that NWEC is for you after getting a tour (not going off of what someone else said), please come with a professional attitude and with goals in mind. Otherwise you will be sidetracked with everything else and then try to place blame on everyone else when things don't go your way. So Know why you want to go to school before you go and be determined to finish with the best of us because this staff will help you soar above all the rest if you reach out and ask for the help and leave the attitude at the front door.Thank You NWEC for allowing me to further invest in myself with your help. Thank you Ms. Hurtt for being my school mom and that listening ear when I needed it you are great at what you do. Mr. O you keep me laughing and teach me so much more the books. You walk away from this school with more than you think so come back and thank the ones who helped you along.

Waste Of Time. First, I would like to say that if you are thinking of attending this school to advance yourself in the computer field...Your wasting your time. This is not the place to enroll. Some of the instructors are so unprofessional and lack a knowledge of computers themselves.

The computers at this school are outdated and the software(Windows, Access, Quickbooks, oh and Peachtree**I was laughed at, at a job interview when I told them I learned Peachtree at this school, I was told that noone uses this program anymore.

I must say that you will learn how to discipline yourself at this school, trust me after being enrolled for 7 months and not quitting,definitely are disciplined.

Some teachers are fair and can teach, yet they seem to get to personal. One teacher will even attempt to date you. Yes, it's like that in this school.
