Great food, friendly people.
After discovering Fiesta Tacos four years ago I have turned literally dozens of friends and family on to this wonderful restaurant. The food ranges from traditional Mexican fare to Tex-Mex and I've never had a bad dish. My favorite are the tacos al carbon. Flavorful and fresh, with plenty of homemade guacamole, pico, and salsa, it is a filling dish that will leave you satisfied.
Getting over the apperance might be difficult for some, but I would argue that the roughly 12 tables and sometimes noisey kitchen give Fiesta Tacos a charm that you would never find at a dressed up Mexican food joint. John, the owner, and his mother greet each customer personally and they get to know their regulars by name and dish.
Only open for breakfast and lunch, Fiesta Tacos, as I'm sure you can tell, is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Houston. I'm sure that if you try it you will agree that this "hole in the wall" puts out some of the biggest Mexican flavors in town.
PS- If you are going for their wonderful breakfast tacos be prepared to wait. The line often stretches out the door!
Good food - Bad Service.

The owner shows preferential treatment to his regular customers and disregard to those he does not know.
