GROSS all! I picked up an order today and the salsa to compliment my nachos was GROSS! It tasted like tomato sauce can and hardly any actual tomoato seeds in it. I called and follow the conversation I had with the receptionist:

Me: "did you change your salsa ingredients?"

Tia Maria's: "no"

Me: "your salsa tastes like tomato sauce can"

Tia Maria's: "no has complaint here, did you pick up your order in it?"

Me: "yes, so are the take out orders salsa different then?"

Tia Maria's: "no, it is from one batch, but you can come back and pick up another one."

Me: "eeewww no if it is the same batch"

Tia Maria's: "okay, I will let them know in the back, bye"

Bad service on the phone says now how bad the food is getting, because the Nacho were bad too... Not one time did she offer refund or something...

Tia Maria's Houston's Best. I had reservations for at least 25 guest, my arrival time was set for 12:30 pm right after my granddaughters special day on her First Holy Communion. I called as soon as we left the church and was told the sitting area was already prepared for my guest. We had two waiters, they were very polite, their service was was the best. The food was served in a timely manner. Chips, salsa and our drinks were served promptly. What else can I say it was a great dinner for my family and guest. I was very happy with everything. My granddaughter loved their enchiladas and I would definately go their again and consider them in my next event. Keep up the good work. The hostess were very helpful also. It's always good to have the best to be successful. Thank you all.

BEST MEXICAN FOOD WITH GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT PRICES. Have been going to Tia Maria's for years. Love their food, service and great prices. No matter how big or small your party is and with little or no notice they can accommodate your party. You never run out of drinks and chips and salsa. They are there johnny on the spot in making sure you are topped off. They give you large portions of food and you will not walk out of their hungry. In fact you will have food to take home for later. The staff are very friendly and helpful and seem to love their job because they have the same people everytime I go there . All restaurants should take notice of why they are so successful and they will always have loyal customers come back to them year after year.

Strong tasty margaritas and delicious tex-mex. Tia Maria's has a been a frequented spot by my co-workers and I for some time now even though there are places much closer. We always have a great time there and not just because the margaritas are strong (actually they can sneak up on you even if they don't taste strong at first. Watch out!) I've tried lot's of items on the menu and everything tastes excellent. I love the burritos! Large portions and really great taste. Fajitas are outstanding as well. The salsa rocks: hot to the touch and spicy on the tongue. Great stuff. They have a few wide screen tv's in the back dining area so if you like watching the game (whatever game you usually watch) they have it on. All the employees are always heplful and friendly. They make sure you have what you need. Just be careful when you are leaving, I've seen some shifty looking individuals hanging out in the parking lot after dark.

Love it!!!. I have been going to Tia's since i was in a high chair! I love it! The prices are outstanding, and they always accomidate big parties well. We celebrate our families birthdays here, and they are always great! They have great soups, taco salads, quesadillas, enchelladas, tacos, fajitas, and strawberry maragaritas! They have a good deal on coronaitas for happy hour!

Great atmosphere!!!. I've been going to this restraunt for as long as I can remember. I love Tia Marias, but i will admit that the food isn't the greatest. It's good, but not great. The atmosphere is very enjoyable, everything is affordble. The maragritas are good also. This is a restraunt that you can go to before going out, or just take the family and have a good time.

Awesome food & margaritas. My family and I had been going to Tia Maria's since we discovered it back in 1988. It is awesome! The atmosphere is enjoyable, the service is superior, the food is very good and the margaritas are just excellent. We have since moved to another city in Texas, (D), and are finding it difficult to match the hometown service and goodness that you feel and have at Tia Maria's Restaurant. We miss you!!
