I hear they are going to open again,I was hoping it would by New Years, but I hear it will be a week or so after. I went to the Tumbleweed every week and was sad when it closed.I now live in Austin and would gladly make the trip to Houston if they reopened. I am keeping my fingers crossed. It would awesome to see all the regulars again. they had great music and I always had a really good time there! Please open soon.

pay attention. Trueplumber....you look a little silly when you say the editorial says it's a C&W bar for dancing, then complain that it's mostly dancing. you were obviously lost when you walked in there. Did you say there are more men than woman in there? I have been there 10s of times at least and nothing could be further from the truth....lot's of very nice ladies. Unfortunately, they like to dance so probably not good for you. If you want to play pool, there are lot's of ice houses splattered all over the country side so please go check one out and you'll feel right at home. The music is excellent...drink prices good, but it does get pretty crowded sometimes....thanks

was'nt the best. its Editorial Description says it all North side country and western bar for dancing, live shows and dirt cheap drink specials. go as a couple this bar didnt have many single women the night's i went an there's more men than women in it,dont go unless ya got ya cowboy dud's on. an have a good dance step. mostly dancing here limited pool tables an floor goes up an down so watch getting wasted

LOTS OF FUN FOR GIRLS. Saturday was a girls night out. We had great services from the staff. Lots of moving around space. Need better pool tables. No wanting in long lines for drinks or ladies room.

great atmosphere. This is a great place to hang out with friends or meet new ones. Great services, and the bartenders are wonderful. The staff is warm friendly, and you feel as if you are truely someone they remember, and they do.

I can honestly say that the only thing I would change about this place is the off-duty officers they employ. They are actually some of the rudest officers I have ever met, not to mention how useless they are as far as protecting property.

Awesome atmosphere. I like to go on Thursdays. It's ladies night. The cover is only $5 for the guys and they have $1 longnecks and $1 U-Call-Its. The bartenders make a killer Jack and Coke or Jaeger Bomb. Good music, not alot of rap (maybe 1 song all night my first night. Seems they played more last night towards closing time. Most likely to get everyone to leave LOL.)

Redneck heaven. if you like the cowboys, like i do, then this is the place to go, great music and lots of cowboys!!
