Though its country decor has been modernized by sleek table lamps and wall hangings, what arrives at the glossy wood tables is nothing but down-home, classic comfort food. Crusty chicken-fried steak with white gravy, slow-cooked pot roast and meat loaf can be paired with the restaurant's namesake vegetables and come with a homemade biscuit. Sweet fruit cobblers, served in a bowl or cup with ice cream, are what Southern grandmas are famous for.

Don't waste your time!. Decided to give the restaurant another try but was extremely dispointed. Waitress had an extremely bad attitude and the manager was unresponsive. We waited over 20 minutes to be greeted by our waitress and over 1 hour to get our food. Others left without getting their food. They were as frustrated as we were! Don't waste your time!
