Horrible Service. DO NOT go to this Sonic! The service is HORRIBLE and the carhops are rude! I went here and ordered TWO drinks, and it took them over 30 MINUTES to bring me my order!!!!! On top of that, the carhops are mostly black and are very rude. As your waiting for your order, you will see them sitting outside smoking, talking on their phone, or sitting in their car listening to rap extremely too loud for a food establishment. The food here is disgusting as well, as if it has been sitting there for hours and they just serve it to you nasty, cold, and disgusting. Seriously, do not waste your time here, take the extra time to drive to the Sonic on Hwy 3 and Clear Lake City Blvd, I LOVE that sonic, the carhops there are awesome, and my food, drinks, and dessert always come out great!

Founded in 1953 as a hamburger-and-root-beer stand, this nostalgic eatery is known for its intercom ordering system and roller-skating carhops. While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites.
