The best value in Houston!!. If you remember Telwink from the 60's you have to give it a try now!! This place literally swarms with people all day because of the good food and great value. They are best-known for their breakfast but their daily specials are all great. The best chicken-fried chicken in Houston. This is the ONLY restaurant where I will order meat loaf...the tomato-mushroom gravy is superb!! Skip the enchiladas and the bacon (it's like jerky). The service is fast and the atmosphere is boisterous. If you don't want to fight the crowd, don't come during peak dining times.
