Houston >Gulf & Basco Lp
We recently remodeled our kitchen. We were impressed with the showroom and kitchen designer. Before the remodel we did a lot of research on how to make a kitchen functional and they gave us suggestions we would have never thought of to make it even better. They also did the installation and had an inspector look at the job to make sure we were satisfied., we are.
NO Customer Service at this place. I don't know how this place stays in business as the sales people will not return phone calls. We were told it takes 3 weeks for cabinets to come in. It took at least 2 weeks to get through to a sales person to answer our questions. Then it was 4 weeks for the order. What should have been a 3 week ordeal took 6 weeks. We had to chase the sales people just to get our bid, then chase them again to give them my business, ridiculous! Pricing is also misleading. Granite counter top bid was for 1/2 as much sq footage as we needed, so the bid was competitive. We did not use them for anything other than cabinets as we figured out their game. My rating would be zero, but you have to give at least 1 star to publish the review. Stay away from this place.
Never returned. Gulf and Basco was recommended to me by a friend. We were in the process of getting bids to remodel our 1930's kitchen. Ginger came out and measured our kitchen, and told us she would get back with us with an estimate. Meanwhile we had other offers and Ginger never got returned with us. I guess Gulf and Basco really did not want our business, so we went with Jesus Construction which completed our kitchen in 2 weeks!
