In Short – The 7,600-acre west side park is the perfect place to spread a blanket and casually soak up the sun for an hour. Bear Creek is also ideal for large groups. The park includes nearly three-dozen soccer fields. There are also scenic hiking and biking trails, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, picnic facilities and several pavilions that can be reserved. A Golf World annex offers three courses.

I love this park. There are lots of hidden places you can go and have a private picnic. Plenty of trees which are great obstacles for throwing some discs. I think there could be a few more play areas. This park has great potential.
- Pros: It's HUGE
- Cons: No disc golf course

Know Before You Go:
There is a bird-watchers area and wildlife refuge (think small zoo) where the buffalo, llamas, ostriches, peacocks and deer roam.
The Extras:
This place is even big enough to ride horses.
