It's autentico. Perfect tex-Mex combination you will find anything you want, since vegetarian, seafood, Mexican or tex-Mex the most I like is the family feeling and the taste of hommie food the service is very good and the girls are realy fast especialy at lunch
This Place is GREAT!. Awesome place. Great food & atmosphere, plus friendly down home service. The stuffed snapper is AWESOME! The salsa is the best I've tasted.... The grilled quail & chile rellanos are outstanding. Great to see a mom and pop establishment these days!
Horrible food. Ordered huevos rancheros - received an omelette with excessive cheese. Authentic huevos rancheros don't have cheddar cheese! Come on - cheddar cheese is not used in Mexico. I almost got sick from the globs of it...yuck. My Dad ordered flautas and they came out so greasy. The physical set-up and feel is nice but the food is not good and certainly not authentic. I'll never go back and can't recommend.
An Alief Landmark. Been going here for the last 15 years and still the best Mexican food in town. Ask for the "HOT" salsa.
The Best Real Mexican Food!. We live in Austin now, but still come to Tejas everytime we visit Houston. The food is great, from the complimentary salsa to the fresh caught fish. I recommend the quesadillas with the green tamale sauce for dipping. This place is family owned and operated, with authentic Mexican food. Give it a try if you haven't yet!!!
