Tips for Apollo Paint & Body

October 04, 2012

3 weeks ago I was hit in Houston by a woman running a stop sign. My perfect car was perfect no more. I had driven by Apollo before to get an estimate on just some small dings and loved the vibe over there, so when this happened I knew where to go. They worked around the clock to get my car back before the lease was over and when the end of lease inspection came, it passed without a mark! Frankly, the car drives better now than when it did new. In Stafford, with all the body shops around, I will only be visiting Apollo from here on out.

Top-Notch Customer Service from start to finish. I will not go anywhere else! The owner and his entire staff & repair team make you feel like family the moment you walk into the door. Top-notch customer service all the way. I had been with the same mechanic in Sugarland for 10 years and never thought I'd never go anywhere else until a close friend recommended Apollo Paint and Body. The quality of their work and the incredible caring attention that they consistently provide to all of their customers is unmatched, in my book. My Mustang won't let me take her anywhere else. And for good reason!

Whitey's estimate was great! Almost zero difference with the amount I paid. Actually, I find the charge quite unbelievable considering the damage to be fixed. These guys are totally amazing!

One star is too generous!. Here's Apollo's M.O. You get in a car accident. You take the car to Apollo to get the body work taken care of. They make you feel all warm and fuzzy and promise to take care of you. As soon as they get the check from the insurance co., they get most of the work done on your car in a reasonable amount of time. You go to pick up your car only to find that it looks as if a blind man inspected the car. Our car was FILTHY, inside and out; there were scratches all over the new door panels and outside pillar covers; and one of the window's tint had several large scratches and adhesive overspray all over it. On top of that, we're still waiting on a part to finish the job.

To make a long story short, we've been back and forth four times in the last two months - twice to have the window re-tinted (the manager was a no-show the first time), and twice to have one last part replaced, which has been mis-ordered both times. The best part - Apollo somehow managed to cash our two party insurance check without ever receiving our signature or authorization to do so. Fraud anyone?

The manager, Sal, won't call you when he says he will, has some sort of grade school rivalry with his body shop lead, for which the customer suffers, and will turn every mistake around and somehow put the blame on you. My guess is that he and the owner, Frank were used car salesmen in a past life.

Steer clear unless you want to get screwed!

Apollo Helped me out. Great Work & Fast & Reasonable Prices

I managed to "bump" the side of my garage wall causing big dents in both of my left doors. I went to Apollo and got a reasonable estimate and left my car there (about $700 cheaper than my first estimate). They put me in their free loaner car!! YES THEY ARE ACTUALLY FREE! I didn't believe it at first but it was true. They give all customers a free loaner car while they repair their cars.

All together great experience. YES, I would refer friends and family. GOOD WORK APOLLO

Solid & Quick work. I was recently rear ended when I was driving on Chimney rock in my 2007 Chevy Tahoe. The back was pretty torn up and the guy that rear-ended me had State Farm Insurance. Insurance was ready to cut me a check for my repairs, but I still needed a way to get to work without renting a car for $25/day. They suggested one of their Direct Repair Shops, but Apollo was always a familiar name growing up.

The manager at Apollo put me in one of those small 4-door Hyundais (it was no Tahoe but Hey! it's Free!).

The Work turned out good. I would go back and send others. - ES
