Something very bad is happening here

I stopped by Droubis last night with the idea of picking up dinner. There was one hispanic man who didn't really understand english working behind the counter. He said it is never busy and he works there alone every afternoon until close. The yogurt sauce I ordered was warm (I did not take it) and he had raw chicken kebabs behind the counter (under cellophane, but UN-refrigerated!) I bought the pita bread and ran for my life. Very spooky (but the packaged pita was good).

• Cons: service, rest of the food, store

this place has the best pita in Houston - and the shawarma is fantasic....everything is so fresh, and the staff is helpful; great for take-out.
