Foundation Repair: Great Experience

First, our job was a large foundation repair with 85 pressed pilings throughout the home. This required significant tunneling under the living space. It was a huge job and not a pleasant one to experience as a homeowner. That said, I won't fault Church Services for the challenging nature of the job, which involves many weeks, jackhammers, enormous piles of dirt, and crews of workers every weekday.

JR, our Engineer, was a total professional. He was always available for questions and very pleasant to work with.

Jose, the Forman did not speak English as well as I hoped, but that did not present any major issues ... just required a little more time and patience. Other members of the crew spoke perfect English, which helped a great deal. Jose was very attentive and helpful. He was happy and eager to please and accommodate.

The crew was a hard working bunch. This is no easy job and they worked hard all of the time. They were very respectful to us and our property. Generally, they were very careful and conscientious. When asked them to make an adjustment, they cheerfully complied.

The job site was cleaned up well every day, holes covered, ... things were returned to "as normal as possible" given the circumstances, although six foot piles of dirt are far from "normal". Our neighbors even commented on how hard the crew worked, and how thorough a job they did cleaning up.

They did everything they could to complete the job on schedule, despite cold, rain, plumbing system rerouting, and the holidays.

One thing we noticed ... when jackhammering in the garage, the area could done a better job covering our cabinets and things with plastic. They put up plastic but it did not prevent concrete dust from getting everywhere. Not a major issue, but I hope that they take note for future jobs. Also ... and I could be wrong ... I think that when a foundation is raised there is a high probability of damage to the plumbing under the slab ... so they should budget some time for that in the schedule. I'm sure "it depends" on multiple factors, but we were a little surprised and probably shouldn't have been. Maybe we missed something in the planning meetings.

All in all, we definitely would recommend JR and Church Services for foundation repair.

Foundation Repair

The engineer met with us before repairs started. Hard working, efficient, clean and so far has been a great repair. I would recommend them to someone else needing their foundation repaired.

Foundation Repair

Church Services appeared to do a good job with the foundation repair. The engineer was very professional and kept us informed each step of the way. The entire staff that worked on our house was courteous and cleaned up after leaving. I felt very comfortable using Church Services to do such an important job for us and recommend them for your use.

Thumbs up on Foundation Repair

JR Hernandez was the Engineer assigned to work with us on our foundation repair. We had great communication with JR, the foreman and his crew throughout the process. I have never seen a crew like this crew that worked on our foundation repair. Everyday they show up early and work nonstop late in the evenings. I enjoyed seeing the crew so dedicated to their job. That makes you feel like your home matters to them, not just a job.They take care of every little detail from start to finish. Their job is so well done that I even forgot I have a crew working on my foundation.

I really enjoyed having Church Services for my foundation repair and will most differently recommend them to anyone that needs any work done.

Thank you JR and your crew for the best experience no words can describe. All thumbs up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jose was AWESOME!!!!!

We had to do an after hours call b/c our a/c completely stopped working. Jose was here in a couple of hours and fixed our unit on a Sun am. We are thrilled at having our air back in Aug. in Houston. He also found a couple of things wrong and fixed them as well. We will def. use this company for our bi-annual checkups. Highly recommend. It's hard to find an a/c company like this one, believe me, we have tried several with horrible results. THANKS JOSE!!!!
