Having previously used Church for plumbing, and was VERY pleased with their service, as well as the costs, I called them again for electrical help in preparing that same property for re-sale. The person who reviewed the work to be done and provided the quote, was the same person who would return to do the actual work. His name was Jose. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly, and I was very pleased with the entire process which covered about 3 days, as they were willing to work with my schedule along with the city having to pull meter and then re-connect after having my electrical panel updated. The office staff has always been courteous as well, when scheduling and calling me in advance of the tech's arrival so I could meet him there. I highly recommend Church Services, and you should be especially pleased if you get Jose for electrical issues, or Charles Williams for plumbing issues. This electrical job was at the end of May, and the plumbing job was mid-February. - DJ
I attempted to change a light bulb in a fixture above our stairs approximately 25' straight up. The glass part of the bulb separated from the metal portion and left the metal in the fixture. It was hopelessly stuck for an amateur.
I called Church Services. They dispatched Jose O. to the rescue. He managed to position a 28' extension ladder perpendicular to the staircase from the ground floor to access the fixture... and took special care not to damage the walls during the process. Very ingenious! It took a good 15 minutes of persistence at the top of the ladder just to extract the metal portion.
I have done business with Church Services for years, have never been disappointed, and have and will continue to recommend them, even to my personal friends.
We called and left a message at night concerning a possible plumbing issue. We stated that it could wait until the next day and to please call us back. Church Services had someone on-site by 9AM the following morning. Troy B. located the problem with the hot water heater and successfully repaired not only the stated problem but also a problem with the additional hot water heater that was in our attic (he proactively looked and found the same issue that prevented further problems). He was very professional and we were very pleased with the service.
Our AC went out on a friday.I called a large company close to us in Jersey Village.The tech came by Sat. morning and told me I needed a new AC system.Cost would be $6700 but because I was a senior would be $6300.I decided to call Church Services becaues I had seen them in the area.Frank Burrier came by Sat. about 3 PM.He said let me look at it because it sounds like you may not need a new system.But he also said a new system would be $5200.(The same system the others wanted $6300 for) After looking at it and cleaning out the dead leaves,we called one of their techs.He came at 8pm on a sat.night.Brook Boswell fixed it in about an hour.Total cost $316.When I do need a new system I will sure call Church Services.
Don't use for inspections – My husband and I are purchasing a home in Houston and hired Church Services to perform a hydrostatic plumbing inspection. The inspection was performed on a Friday and at the inspection the inspector provided a poor carbon copy of the services performed that was not legible. He said that a report would be provided the following Monday. Follow up phone calls to the company on Monday by us and our real estate agent trying to determine the status of the report revealed that the company had no intent of providing a report and the carbon copy was the extent of the reporting plans. They also had no record of exactly what services had been provided and had no record of payment for services and we had to explain the services provided and prove that the payment was actually made. Following multiple calls, explanations of services and payment, and finally the support of our agent we were able to get the attached report. The inspection revealed 3 leaks, which the sellers had checked out by their plumber following our explanation to the sellers of what the leaks were (as there was no documentation from Church Services explaining the leak locations or "systems"). The seller's plumber told us that Church Services actually overcharged for the number of plumbing systems inspected. We payed for inspection of 4 of the 5 plumbing systems found by the inspector and according to the sellers plumber two of the 4 were actually a single system. The Church documentation only refers to three systems.
I would like to apologize on behalf of Church Services. We express regret that we have failed to meet your expectations in reference to report generation and explanation of the testing process. We strive to surpass our customer's expectations and we will use your comments and feedback to review it with our staff that participated in your leak detection testing appointment and follow up.
Based on the information provided to our office from the testing crew, the house had three systems and the garage had one system. Of these four systems, the three for the house were tested for leaks.
Once again I apologize for not providing an adequate report and explanation for the findings of this test.

Excellent pest control company – I would highly recommend this company. They were on time if not early, did the work efficiently and have come back three times to check in the attic for rodents having found two dead rats. We are hoping that is it, but know we can depend on this company to make sure that is it.I would not hesitate to call them again .
Great Service – We called Church Services to come out and look for a line in our yard. The first repairman did not find anything and thought it was the sprinkler system. After the sprinkler repairman said that there was no issue with the sprinklers, we called Church Services back again and this time they sent out an expert with 35 years named James. James spent almost 4 hours in his detection and repair of the leak which was a pin sized hole in the copper leading into the house. He worked in a very wet area of the yard with a lot of mosquitoes swarming around. He did all of this work on the Thursday night before Good Friday and stayed late to get it done. This was GREAT SERVICE!!! Thank you!
Foundation Repair – We have a 3200 square foot, single story home with foundation issues. Church Services was contacted by our builder to correct the problem. JR Hernandez-Mesa came out & surveyed the problem, presented a plan & started to work. Our home required 78 piers & extensive tunneling under the slab to bring it back into alignment. This was a major job!
All of the Church Services personnel were very professional, hard working & informative. The job site was cleaned every day before they left.
Without hesitation, we give JR, his crews & Church Services our highest recommendation.
Pest Control – Great customer service! John is knowledgeable, experienced and honest. I strongly recommend calling Church and asking for John for your next pest control service.
STEPHEN SEIDLER and RYAN PEREZ are so great!!! – For foreigners like me, it is very difficult to communicate with people especially house problems like flea problems. When STEPHEN SEIDLER and RYAN PEREZ came to our house, they were so kind and professional. They workds so hard for us.
