Good Bye My Amigos!. My name is Peter I was the "black guy" who used to work there MAN I miss that job everyone there loved me too! lol very friendly environment. All the negatives are true as well as the positive. depends on who is there and if everything is in stock. Yall should have asked me to be yall waiter I never had any problems and if i did it was free! lol But yea Don't worry u guys in a few years I'll buy the place and show Houston REAL Mexican food!!! Places like My Amigos are RARE so I'll bring it back one day! To all my old customers yall can probably see me playing football on TV just like I told u I would end up doing, no not the NFL the AFL for dallas so stay tuned to ESPN! =)

Closed, but was our Family FAVORITE!!. We were on this side of town last weekend and decided to stop in, and to our astonishment they were closed?!!!... talked to the the business next door and they said the closed at the beginning of the year. We moved to Conroe last year but used to eat here all the time. They will be missed......

Terrible Customer Service, Rude Employees, Hot Restaurant. On Friday, August 25, 2006, it was my Niece's birthday, she called and made reservations for 15 people for 7:00pm. I arrived at 6:50pm. Our table was ready, the rest of the party arrived before anyone was asked for their drink orders. We were never asked again. We asked to have our tabs separated (they said they could not separate them, but would when the time came to pay) Our food orders were taken at 9:00pm. (we had been there 2 hours) We kept requesting to give our food orders because we had children that were hungry. Waiters just kept coming by, then they would go to the back never to be seen again.

My son was charged for 3 Chimichanga dinners (he had one), my son in law was charged for 3 margaritas (he had one). My sister ordered her food to go to start with, but of course she got it to eat there. We had one waiter for the entire table. Their AC went out, so it was hot. The waiter was very, very rude. Finally the manager gave everyone 1 free margarita (then charged it to our ticket) Everyone's order was wrong. We finally got out of their with out food to go at 10:00pm. Didn't even have time to eat. I will never go back there again. We used to go there quite often but this experience ruined it for us. Needless to say there was no tip left.

We will never go to this restaurant again...........

bad food and bad service. The Mexican food at this restaurant is horrible. I have tried to give it at least 4 chances because someone in the group always wants to go there and try it. But it was not good on any occasion. It is scary to me that this restaurant would make a top ten best anything list.

DEFINITELY WORTH THE DRIVE!. This is a truly great Mexican Restaurant! My friend recommended the place and I'm glad she did! My boyfriend and I loved every bit of it from the strawberry margaritas to the tacos al carbon. Unfortunately, we don't live in the Westchase District but we will definately make the drive back out for My Amigo food and margaritas!

ENJOYED FOR OVER EIGHT YEARS!!. We have been enjoying My Amigos for sometime and consider it our kitchen away from home. The food is always fresh and tasty,and the service friendly and attentive. Anyone we have ever brought to this establishment would agree. You should absolutely put MY AMIGOS on you list for great Mexican food and margaritas.

the worst mexican food you can eat!. I've tried alot of mexican restaurants authentic and Tex-Mex in many cities and countries. I can honsetly say that this is the worst mexican restaurant I have ever experienced in my life time. The food was cold and the service was horrible. We sent our Magaritas back because they tasted like watered down cheap tequila with a tase of old lime juice. The second Margaritas were just as bad as the first. The shrimp smelled old and was over salted the carne guisada was nothing more than chunks of beef covered in chile powder and salt. I do not know how this establishment made City Searches list of "Best Mexican Food." There must be something wrong. A joke maybe? I will tell everyone I know to stay clear of this place...

Highly Recommended. My husband and I have been coming to My Amigos for a few months now and every dining experience has been wonderful. Where to start.......the fajitas and shrimp brochette are absolutely delicious (our favorites) and the ritas are very potent, I can only handle two. The service is great and the decor is beautiful and for sale. I highly recommend this restaurant......two thumbs way up!

Muy Deliciouso. We love My Amigos, My family and friends have been coming here for several years and have always loved the food and decorations. Being from Laredo the decor reminds me of our family trips to Monterey and seeing all the beautiful clay and metal works. Thanks for doing a great job!!! We will return at least once a week!!!

EXCEPTIONAL. WE HAD OUR DAUGHTERS GRADUATION PARTY AT MY AMIGOS. IN ATTENDANCE WERE OVER 60 GUEST. EVERYONE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME. THE FAJITAS WERE TERRIFIC, AS WAS THE SERVICE!!!! GREAT JOB MY AMIGOS AND STAFF!!!!!!THANKS!!
