About the Same. We have bought from Mac in the past & back then, his prices were a lot more competitive. This time we were only going to compare the prices with what we'd seen at another store. I did not realize that when you make a purchase, you get what everyone else has sat on out in the showroom, I thought you got a BRAND NEW item from the warehouse like we would have from the other store. Theirs may have been a couple of hundred more, but BRAND NEW, not as is. So on that aspect, I'm disappointed.

Have to agree that the sales people are very smothering, almost toooooo nice. When we say we're just looking, let us have some room to do just that. Then if/when we find something we like, we'll let you know and accept your help.

Mac was there at the store and he did acknowledge us, which was nice of him.

The food/drinks were good. It was nice that they consider people may enjoy something to eat while they're there. We ate our fill of hamburgers & hot dogs.

Now on the delivery, they got there within the first hour they said they'd be there. The deliverymen were very nice and helpful.

Only after everything was set up did we notice a back leg did not match the others. That was a huge disappointment considering how much money we'd just spent there. But the delivery person made a note of that on the papers and yesterday a woman from the store said she would FED-EX our new legs to us.

Over all, other than the food, the experience was about the same as the place we'd just came from, especially in the prices. Sure thought there'd be more of a difference there. :( Especially since what we bought turned out to be display items, not BRAND NEW ones. And at the other place we were allowed to walk around on our own and talk amongst ourselves, once in a while the salesperson would approach.

Greatest furniture shopping experience. Growing up in Houston, I have always been fascinated with Mack and his t.v. commercials. We ended up going in last month to buy a new kitchen table and entertainment center. Everyone was so nice and it was so impressive to see Mack working up front and just as hard as his employees! And to boot - we got our furniture that night just like the commercial said! Something that was supposed to be included w/our delivery wasn't. The next morning I called the salesman and before I could offer to come pick the remaining pieces up, our salesman Mike asked when would be convenient for us to receive a delivery - he was ready to send a truck out that minute! Next time we need furniture, there is only one place we will be shopping.

Experience Left Alot to Be Desired. In December 2007, the Down Syndrome Association of Houston, a non-profit organization serving families of people with Down Syndrome by providing family support, educational conferences, and year-round activities for the kids needed to furnish its first ever resource center. With a very limited budget, we went to Gallery with a list of items we needed to purchase. We were surprised to find that Gallery, known for its support of the community, including the disability community was only willing to give the organization a 10% discount on nearly $5K in furniture. They would not even waive the delivery charge. When the furniture arrived, some pieces were delivered without the hardware and a chair was broken. We also found that we did not have enough room for the desk we got, an end-table was too large for foyer, and we had an extra chair that did not fit in the lounge. These items totaled approximately $1K, which could have been applied to other items we needed either at Gallery or as refund to the organization, so we could purchase toys for the kids, or put the finishing touches on the project. Gallery was very rude; they agreed to deliver the hardware for the items, order a replacement leg screw for the broken chair to arrive several weeks later, and they refused to accept the extra items stating that the 10% discount barred us from returning anything. So, we are stuck with items we can't use having spent an extra $1K we don't have, and we don't have enough money to buy the outstanding items for our grand opening. So much for supporting the community. I guess the Down Syndrome Association of Houston isn't big enough for Mattress Mack.

Exceptional Service!. After having a 10,000 oak tree demolish our home and the hot water heater flood our home, we lost many of our belongings and all of our furniture. Several months later, our home is rebuilt and we were able to furnish our new home entirely from Gallery Furniture. After shopping around, we decided to stick with Gallery where the service was exceptional and we were like family. In two days, we furnished our home and are VERY pleased with Gallery and all our new furniture. Thank you to Mack and his great staff for a job well done!

WE LOVE GALLERY FURNITURE. My husband and I love Gallery Furniture. After buying our new home 2 years ago, we stopped by Gallery @ 7pm one evening "JUST TO LOOK". And three hours and $12.000.00 later, we had a complete house full of furniture. IT WAS ONE STOP SHOPPING. Thank You MACK

One Stop Shopping at its Best. I have been very impressed with the quality and value of the merchandise we have purchased at Gallery Furniture. We have bought bedroom furniture, an entertainment center, and a big screen TV - and for less than the "discount" electronic stores. We are always made to feel welcome, and the Customer Service has been outstanding. If you stop at Gallery Furniture first, you can save yourself a lot of time and trouble. They really have what you want, and at a fair price.

Gallery Furniture is Awesome!. I don't know which is better....Gallery or Mack! He is always there with a smile and doing whatever it takes to make the customer happy. That is something I appreciate.....a business that values it's customers. The quality of the furniture is fantastic.....the prices ROCK, and the level of service is unsurpassed! I am a customer for LIFE! Thanks for all that you do Mack!

Gallery Furniture. We only buy at Gallery Furniture since moving to Houston from Chicago. The main reason is competitive prices and same day delivery. You can't beat that!

Gallery Furniture is Great. Great service, friendly staff, delivered the same day!!! Prices are within a wide range and all good stuff! Why go anywhere else..even during the holidays, they deliver the same day. You cannot beat this deal..

Best option to shop furnitures. My experience during my first time shopping in Gallery Furniture was simply amazing. The customers can find a lot of solutions for each of their needs. If you need a bed, a sofa, table or whatsoever you need, you can find many options with best prices and highest quality. You won't regret for visiting them!!
