where you get ripped off TODAYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!. I am a fan of ashley furniture ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO I WAS LOOKING FOR A NEW SET OF SOFA AND LOVESEAT I FELL IN LOVE WITH a dark chocolate set model 185 very simple but nice but was price at $1099.00 and that was before taxes n delivery fees( i offer them a $1000.00 cash n the sales man said no )??? so a friend told me about a store on the eastside of town where they had the same set so i went there n got it all for $550.00 including taxes n a same day free delivery thanks to PAYLESS FURNITURE STORE i was able to save a lot of money and i will be going back this tax season to finish furnishing my home

We have bought from Gallery in the past and then, his prices were a lot more competitive. This time we were only going to compare the prices with what we'd seen at another store. I did not realize that when you make a purchase, you get what everyone else has sat on out in the showroom, I thought you got a brand new item from the warehouse like we would have from the other store. Theirs may have been a couple of hundred more, but brand new, not as is. I'm disappointed.
Have to agree that the sales people are very smothering. When we say we're just looking, let us have some room to do just that. Then when we find something we like, we'll let you know and let you help.
Great Customer Service.
I purchased a lower end Toshiba LCD tv a few months back. It was right before hurricane Ike made landfall here in Houston as a matter of fact. Gallery has a 15 day return policy, and I didn't start having trouble with that TV until about 20 days after the purchase. After the hurricane came, my TV troubles were placed on the back burner for another few weeks. After about 2 months from the time of purchase, I began noticing bad picture quality, and trouble with the unit powering on. I called GF and was told I had to take this up with Toshiba. I emailed back and spoke with Adan, the customer service manager. I explained that due to uncontrollable circumstances, I was not able to get back to the store in the 15 days, and I would like to upgrade the TV to a better model.
Adan allowed me to bring in the faulty TV and exchange it towards a better model. I stayed with Toshiba, but got the better one they sold. I am happy with this TV, and because of GF's outstanding customer service, I will return and have no problem referring them to others.

Crowded, hot place.. If you like being stampeded by salesman, this is your place. And they trail you like a dog. I think the prices are higher than other furniture stores. (Fingers, Star) It all comes across as a huge flea market. It was so hot in that building (in June) they must be trying to save on electricity. I expected more, from watching the commercials, So needless to say I was disappointed. Wont be stopping back in.
LOVE Gallery Furniture!!!. Over the years we've bought quite a bit of furniture at Gallery and I can honestly say that I have yet to be disappointed. Our most recent purchase was theater seating. Since we just built a new house and have a media room, we were excited about furnishing it. Theater seating can get pretty expensive, but we were able to get the first row at a steal because it was the floor model. The second row we had to pay regular price for but , for the quality of furniture we got, it was worth it. Also love the fact that the salespeople don't hound you to death. It's a nice experience every time!
Just the best!. I went to Gallery Furniture for the first time yesterday. I purchased a white sofa. The individual assisting me was extremely kind and explained their guarantees thoroughly. When I went to purchase the sofa, the cashier was very nice and asked me about my experience. When it came to delivery, John called me to let me know the exact time he planned on arriving. They delivered it promptly! They even took my old sofa away! It was just great! I will definitely be back there again!!!
Count on Gallery Furniture. My husband and I had just built a home theater and found a sectional with a chaise lounge at a local dealer close to what we wanted, but not exactly what we wanted. I had shopped at Gallery Furniture a few years ago and was very pleased with the pricing and selection, so I decided to look online to see if they had what I wanted. There it was. EXACTLY what we wanted. My husband and I drove 2.5 hours with our 2 year old son to look at the sofa sectional we saw online. Not only did we purchase the couch because it was exactly what we were looking for, but as always, we recieved exceptional customer service from Boxer Greg. Not only was the showroom service exceptional, but we also recieved wonderful service at the loading dock. As we were getting ready to leave, our son said he was hungry and one of the employees walked us back into the showroom and showed us where we could get some food before we left. We will continue to shop at Gallery Furniture for all our furniture needs.
Others Can't Compete with Gallery. I recently purchased a sectional at a store that just opened near Willowbrook Mall- one that has been in business for quite some time in Houston. After three attempts to deliver a sofa with no defects and three delivery times that wee not met- I told them to take the sofa back! I went to Gallery the next day and was met at the door by Mac. I told him of my experience and how I had purchased leather furniture there about 10 years ago. I purchased a leather sofa, loveseat,end table and coffee table at 4:00 pm and had the whole set in my house by 9:00 pm. They were polite, on time and even moved my existing furniture upstairs without a problem. I will continue to be a Gallery customer!
Mac knows how to make his customers happy!!!!!. My Husband, Tom Devine, and I purchased a top of the line Temperpedic bed from Mac about a year ago. There was a problem with the installation and Mac immediately sent an employee to exchange our box spring. My mom was not sleeping well due to her mattress so we bought her a Temperpedic for Christmas 2007. She loves the mattress. Mac is very successful because he believes in making his customers happy at all costs; not to mention he's a philanthropist and gives to others. He makes the buying experience extremely pleasurable. His sales staff, especially Brandon, are super. Mac does not miss a beat in making his customers feel special. Thank you, Mac and Brandon.
WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE. I enjoyed my experience at Gallery Furniture. The prices were reasonalbe and there was a hugh selections to choose from. My credit wasn't the greatest but I was able to purchase a sofa, love seat, chair and ottoman all leather and at the same time build my credit. I will definately return.
