In Short – Cardi's isn't a large club, but it has a big stage, a dance (thrash) floor, plenty of lights, a huge bar and comfortable seating. The fellas over at Cardi's know something most everyone else has overlooked: It may not be hip, but straighforward rock and roll still has plenty of devotees. We're talking KISS tribute nights, hard tock and even some heavy metal. The crowd tends to be older than the college kids.

Entering Cardi's one gets a feeling of nostalgia - like its better days are behind it. A forlorn long bearded bartender gets you a watered down drink while local kiddie bands play on a huge stage. While listening to some badly tuned music the word "Dive" comes to mind...
- Pros: sound, big stage
- Cons: about everything else

Well, my first (sober) visit to Cardi's was a couple of Weeks ago to see my friends show, i have gone before but i was bar hoping and well we all know how that goes.. but i was there and i couldn't help but remember the late 80's early 90's ( the bad part that is) i was so lost on why one of the bartenders looked like a 16 year old high schooler that was only there to watch the show and not make my friends and I drinks...then when we did get the drinks they where more watered down than the ice itself. after having to hear the show through poor sound, we left and never returned again,,,might i add that the other times that i was there already drunk it still showed poor and i was drunk!
