Editorial Review for Giannotti's Italian Argentinean Cafe – by Andrea Loera

In Short
A favorite of Houston's South American community, this casual café with the paper plates provides affordable lunchtime options and dinnertime takeout. Sandwiches include sausage, meatball or beef Milanesa. Sample savory empanadas or homemade pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine or ravioli) topped with tomato sauce or pesto. Pastries and baked goods (including those made with dulce de leche caramel sauce) are made fresh daily. The grocery shelves at the back of the restaurant stock a variety of Italian-South American staples.

This is not a place you go to for nice looks. It is a place you go for great italian food at a reasonable price. When you first arrive, it may look like a whole in the wall place, but don't let that fool you. Giannotti's has excellent pasta and sandwiches. The pasta to go is also great. This is a restaurant with a relaxing atmosphere and great food.

Pros: Food / Price

Cons: Service was average/Ambience was below average
