Excellent BBQ.
My first time here and I was impressed, the ribs just fall off the bone and the dirty rice was the best I have had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and made me feel right at home, and the entire place was very clean. I will definately go back again and take my family.

Editorial Review.
Brisket, ribs, chicken, sausage and turkey are smoked and served with traditional sides at this traditionally authentic Texas barbecue house.

Real Texas BBQ.
I remember Walter Jatton's in Fort Worth, Brothers in Llano, City Market in Luling and Biggers in Elgin, and Valley Ranch is as good or better than any of them. Great food, great service and the prices are very reasonable. Our local model railroad club holds it's monthly meeting at "The Ranch", and all the members seem to enjoy the food and the facilities.
Valley Ranch lets us hold a Mini Train Show in the banquit room, and we invite other diners to visit with us and learn about our hobby.
What a place!

amazing.
It's most definitely the best BBQ place in Texas. I'm not even a huge fan of BBQ, but this place has great food. The turkey is delightful, ribs incredible, baked potatoes are huge, onion rings are delicious, the list never ends. The owner/managers will cater to your every need. The atmosphere is wonderful for families. They have a huge banquest room for reservation. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good ol south bbq.

Best (so far)!.
I have just begun my search to find the best babeque in Houston. So far, Valley Ranch is leading. I found the chopped beef sandwich to be tender and juicy. It was accompanied by plenty of barbeque sauce (something lacking from most other barbeque restaurants). The cole slaw was flavorful. My only complaint was the beans -- too runny for me.
