I have used this vet clinic/hospital for 30 years. Dr Coursey has always been very kind and gentle with my pets. I also adore Dr Borland. Both doctors know their trade and will offer suggestions for various treatments to help keep the cost down. They are upfront about costs before they proceed. The staff is professional with several working at this clinic for over 15 years. I highly recommend them.

No other place like Lakewood Forest Veterinary. I am a concerned pet owner, and quite possibly an overly sensitive one. That means I take my dog to the vet ALOT. The folks at Lakewood Forest Veterinary are always friendly, willing to help with big and small issues alike, and they never make me feel like just a patient or a number.

The receptionist is engaging, friendly and calming. The intake team is responsive and prompt. The doctors and technicians are always caring and thorough - exactly what I want in my own doctor. I continue to refer everyone I know to Lakewood Forest Veterinary, for emergencies and other care of pets. I have been to other vets in town and elsewhere and believe that Lakewood Forest Veterinary provides the best care - hands down - of any vet. The staff treat all animals like their own. Couldn't ask for better !

A Vet that truly care!. I cannot speak highly enough of Lakewood Forest Veterinary. My kitty was having urinary issues and needed to be monitored for quite a few days. The vet techs took him right away to be examined by the doctor. I never had to wait longer than 20 minutes, and was always told exactly what was going on, how he was doing, etc.

It is obvious that the entire staff at Lakewood Forest Veterinary truly love animals, and love their jobs. I completely credit them for saving my cat's life. Thank you!

Everyone is great. I don't even know where to start! Dr. Coursey has been Rex & Ryan's doctor since practically the beginning of their life (they're 5 now). Dr. C has seen it all with them and has helped us maintain them in the healthiest state possible using traditional and homeopathic care. Of course I'm biased and think I have the world's best MinPins, but I know it has a lot to do with the great care that Dr. C has given them and us. Our family gives Lakewood Forest Vet four thumbs up and eight paws up!!!

Call anytime. Great vets. First rate care for our pets. They are unfailingly helpful, gentle and compassionate. Excellent staff. This place is a great place to bring your pets. They are so helpful and really care about your little ones. You can call them anytime about questions you have! I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet they love.

Accomodating. I have been using Lakewood Forest Vet for many years, first for my own 2 cats and more recently for an assortment of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens that I foster through the Houston Humane Society. Dr. Coursey without exception, is terrific, and I have presented them with many difficult cases over the past few years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and their fees are reasonable. They are usually able to accommodate me the same day. Highly recommended!!

Thanks for reccomending them everyone!!!. After reading all of the recommendations and ratings, i tried them. And thank God for ratings!!! They were every bit as good as all of you said they'd be. and I most of the time think these things are fake that are posted on here, but I'm guessing now they're not!!! They took such great care of my pup, and there is no better feeling than when you're babes are taken care of by people who YOU believe care, and aren't just "doing their job". Great, Great place. They are officially the family vet, and I will be referring them too! :)

best. Best in Town!! This pet hospital is great! the Dr.'s rock and the staff are super nice. you guys have been so awesome to my crazy hyper dog. Thank you very much and keep up the good work!

thank you. This is such a good hospital every one is very sweet and they all love animals they treat the animals with lots of respect and I really appreciate that. My chihuahua is very shy but the few time that I have brought her here she feels safe and comfortable.
