Decent sushi and a large buffet
by cbawlmer at Citysearch
Pepper Chino has a large Chinese buffet with a good variety of items to choose from. The quality is fine, about what I expect from a buffet like this. What makes Pepper Chino special is its sushi. The sushi isn't just a bunch of hours-old California rolls sitting on a buffet like at many restaurants; rather, the sushi is made to order for you. They offer a selection of sushi comparable to the menus at some other, more upscale sushi restaurants, and it is always fresh and tasty. It may not be as fancy and fussy as the upscale places, but that's fine. The all-you-can-eat sushi deal is $14.95 at night, and it includes the buffet. This is especially good for people who are new to sushi and aren't sure they will like it -- they always have the option of hitting the buffet for egg rolls, fried rice, orange chicken, etc.
- Pros: Big variety of sushi and Chinese food, ample parking
