This is a great place! I have been sewing for many years I was in the market for a sewing/embroidery machine. The staff here was considerate and helped me make an informed choice. I am pleased with the new machine and look forward to dealing with them for all my sewing needs.

i love this store, if you are experienced and want something done exactly, or whether your new to the sewing world and don't know anything its quick and easy to come and learn. their staff is super nice, patient, and very helpful with everything so how about just going there!?!?!?!?!

I knew very little about sewing machines going into the Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse, but Lee was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. I am very glad my mother-in-law recommended a sewing machine shop vs purchasing off the shelf at the fabric store or big-box retailer. They helped me understand various machine functions, when I might use certain features, how to thread the machine, etc. I tried out the demonstration model of the one I ended up purchasing while I was there - they have a lot of models to test out. I appreciated the helpful, friendly service and will go back in a few weeks for a class too.

They are very knowledgeable and patient. When my old sewing machine kept breaking, they explained why and that a plastic machine can't sew through heavy materials without shifting. Jason showed me several machines in different price ranges. While I saved up for my dream machine, he jotted down my info and promised to let me know if someone traded in the Janome I wanted. A few days ago, Jason called me up and said they had a trade-in! It was very similar to what I wanted, and they offered me a good price and a one-year warranty. I am loving my new machine!

Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse is a great place to shop for a sewing machine. Jason was very helpful and took the time to demonstrate the different machines. I bought the Janome Horizon and love it. I have been very pleased with the service from Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. I would highly recommend them.

Very positive experience!. When my sewing machine stopped working properly, I started searching for somewhere to get it repaired. I didn't want to take it just anywhere and I decided to try Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse because of all the positive reviews, even though it's quite far from where I live. I finally bit the bullet and went and dropped my sewing machine off for servicing today. As soon as I walked in the door, a sales person took the machine for me and walked me over to where a another employee, Vianey, set up my machine to figure out what was wrong with it.

She was very nice and quickly diagnosed what was wrong with it. When the repair price she quoted to me was higher than what I said I'd hoped for, Vianey gave me how I could earn some store credit to defray the expose. So far I'm very satisfied with Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse, and I look forward to getting to pick up my repaired machine.

If they do as good of a job as the other reviews suggest, I will be changing this review to 5 stars.

Sewing & Vacuum Warehouse is Awesome!. I had a wonderful experience at Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. Associates were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be going back!

Honest and Friendly Staff!. Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse is a great honest place to browse and buy sewing machine and surgers. I bought a surger from Vianey. You know that kind of sales person at, let’s say… bass pro shop or REI where they make you feel like a huge moron for not knowing everything and not being a “Pro”. Well I am pleased to say Vianey didn’t make me feel stupid that I didn’t know the proper lingo or that I didn’t’ even know what a certain button did on my OWN sewing machine that I have had for 6+ years. She was honest and very helpful and all the sales people know the machines in and out. I also like that this is a specialty store they know their trade. I also LOVE that they offer free classes when you buy a machine. Im not too proud to take them up on that! All and all a great experience and im happy with what I bought.

Wonderful Place to Go!. I just purchased my second machine from Sewing and Vacuum Warehouse. Three years ago I purchased an Embroidery Machine there. I go in periodically to get accessories for it. I was pleased with the service so when my sewing machine broke, I went looking for a new one. After trying several different models, I decided on a combination sewing/quilting machine. It was an excellent choice. Thank you Cynthia for your knowledge and patience during the class. I look forward to many years of enjoyment with both machines. Best place to buy a sewing machine in Houston. They were very helpful and nice. They helped me find the best sewing machine to fit my needs at a great price! I would definately shop here again.
