Huge variety and great service

Wow, went in not really knowing what I wanted, and was immediately helped by Johnny, who questioned me to find out what I needed, then gave me several choices in my price range. He showed me new as well as used guns that would serve my needs. I never felt pressured. Then he expained the differnt ammunition I could use depending on my circumstances. He even showed me how to breakdown the gun and clean it. If you don't know what you need, and want alot to choose from Collectors Firearms is the place to go.

Great collection of collector and used guns and some new ones.

If you are looking for a used gun of any type, any price range, this is the place to go to, not junk stuff though. Not as many new ones, I guess they can't compete with some of the chain stores on prices. Most of the staff is knowledgable, some are very knowledgeable, much better that what you get at the chain stores. If you have something unusual or looking for something old or collectible, this is the place to go. Most long guns are out to look at, some behind the counter. Handguns under glass, but they will show you anything. Prices reasonable and willing to negotiate. A must for any gun person in Houston.

More like a museum

I have been shooting for 25 years. This store is encyclopedic and organized. If you want to find some kind of antique rifle or pistol, it will be there. Most pieces are clean and easy to find. There are lots of staff, but they are bustling around, and not real friendly if they don't know you. The prices are on the high side, but on the other hand they have everything and you don't spend $4 gasoline driving around looking. Almost reminds me of a museum.
