Anyone know what happened to the hairdresser Chris?. I am so so sad that Bushwacker closed right under my nose and I have no idea where my hair dresser went!

His name is Chris and I don't know if there were mulitple Chris's working there because someone said a Chris was the owner after Mary Jane...

Anyway, it breaks my heart to go to another hair dresser. I obviously haven't cut my hair in over a year (I didn't know they were closing!)... I was going to have Chris chop it all off but he's gone! I do know that Chris lived kind of out of town if that helps, but I was wondering if anyone knew his last name (in sixteen years, I never learned his last name. Shame on me.) and contact info.

Daniel and Candice have moved to D'elegance salon. What a sad note that Bushwacker has permenantly closed ! If you are looking for Daniel or Candice they can be found at D'elegance Salon and Day Spa at 10001 Westheimer in The Carillion Center.

Great artisans. I have been using Melody for 3 years and never had a bad hair cut. She has great ideas on how to fix problems with my hair. She is consistent and remembers details important to me. Other hair dressers turn out great work too. Several of us use them in our office and everyone is satisfied with the talent of this salon.

Great Salon... Great People!. I love Bushwackers! My husband and I have been going to Daniel for over 5 years. He does a great job with my color and cut. When I tell people that I color my hair... they're surprised... because it looks so natural.

I've also had a facial by Lisa. She's great! All the comments about her being Houston's Eyebrow Queen... it's true! I will not be letting anyone else touch my eyebrows.

I would recommend Bushwackers to anyone looking for a great salon. The staff is friendly and experienced. You can't go wrong with Bushwackers.

What A Great Experience With Daniel. After reading about Daniel here on Citysearch I made an appointment to see him and was very happy with the results!My cut and color came out just how I wanted and I have never looked better than I do now!Next time I am bringing my daughter,can't wait to see what he does with her!A big thank you to Daniel for listening as I babbled my way through the process.I have never had so much fun getting my hair done. Good conversation , true artistic talent and a nice atmosphere. I almost can't wait till my roots grow out again!

Talent, Styling and Fun!. Bushwacker has been my salon for the last seventeen years and I've never even thought of making a change. Why? It was the first "beauty" salon I walked into where I felt like I was visiting good friends. The stylists were friendly and made good styling suggestions. They also told me that even if the sylist I was matched with originally was not a fit for me, that I could ask for another sylist at any time and "no one's feelings would be hurt." It was all about service and making me happy!

Chris, my stylist of 10 years, and new owner of this wonderful Houston institution, has created his own brand of warmth. The decor welcomes you and makes you want to sit down and enjoy a good cup of coffee while being pampered.

Try Bushwacker if you haven' been in...it's hidden behind Randalls off of Westheimer. Once you go there, I guarantee, you'll want to go back.

Expert Colorist and Stylist at this salon!!. The old saying, "You get what you pay for" is so true! I learned the hard way. I've known of Chris's color and stylist talents for many years; however, a move to a smaller town forced me to try someone new. Needless to say, I called Chris in a panic after my hair had been fried and had numerous mismatched tones and highlights throughout. Anyone that knows Chris, can understand that he came immediately to my rescue. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. After only one visit to Chris and his "miracle" work, I now have beautiful, natural looking color/highlights and am on my way back to healthy hair. I will be driving to Houston and Bushwacker to see Chris and his staff. It's worth the time and every penny!!!! Chris, Love You Bundles!

The best salon in town. I've been going to Bushwacker for over 5 years now. This salon is the best in Houston. Chris (master hairdresser and the new owner!! Congrats, Chris!!!) does fantastic cuts and highlights. His staff is awesome. I've also had Candice do my highlights and she is excellent. My hair is perfect every time. You've got to try Lisa for waxing. She truly is the "Eyebrow Queen"! Fun and relaxing atmosphere where time flies and you almost hate to leave.

Great place for a facial. I wanted to get a facial close to home and tried Lisa at Bushwachers. I had been getting my eyebrows done from the threading ladies at the mall but no more. Lisa gave me movie star eyebrows.Then I got a great facial that would have cost alot more at other salons. It was very ralaxing and she is great with extractions if you want that which I did. Also she is very professional and pleasant and doesn't try to sell you product but will help you pick out products if you like. Love her.
