Saturdays are the best!. Fridays are better at Plaza59 now, and Saturdays have become the best nights for going to Tropicana. DJ Lino and DJ Mickey do a good job mixing in audio and video, and there is no band that compares to La Orquesta Salmerum right now. Saw them open for Puerto Rican Power at the Puerto Rican/Cuban Festival and I thought they were actually better. Mi Rumba now plays every other Friday...they still sound pretty good too.

Avoid to go. Hey guys, be carefull, past saturday night I paid with debit card an order that was 9.65, they deducted from my account 120.00, I'm going to demand to this people, I've called and nobody anser the phone.

Parking can be a problem. Steer clear of the buildings next door, across street or your car will be towed. Cost $190 to get car back + Taxi

Tropicana fondren. Very nice club, best nights are Fridays, the live band is great. It get very crowed sometimes, but a great place to go to.

A Club with Much Class. This club is the best Salsa Club ever!!! Like Crystal in it's glory days. They have the best concerts and the atmosphere is awesome. The DJ is absolute;y woinderful. This club has a lot of class.

Where there is Merengue!. There is life. Tropicana is my favorite Latin club in Houston, specially on Friday nights when the best merengue group plays the hottest and latest merengue around.. Very classy place. A little high end, but is worht the money...........
