Decent BBQ. He has two prices out there one where the 2-meats is $7.50 and the other is $10.50. I had a Groupon for $10 and he wanted $3.50 more. I explained, I have seen the other site and he waived the $3.50. His prices have gone up recently. The food is good, but the prices are a bit too high for my other choices.

Stick to the good stuff. I've eaten here occasionally over the last year and a half. I have had there burgers and bbq. The different meats are all good except for the brisket and ribs. I found the ribs weren't very tender and the brisket was tough, rubbery, and fatty. The turkey, links, ham, and chopped beef are all delicious. The potato salad was average, and the beans were tough and bland. I've had the beans a couple of times and this was always the case. The fries vary. Some are perfectly cooked and others are not quite cooked enough. I usually deem about half of the fries not worthy to eat. It must have something to do with the thickness of the cut and/or their location in the fryer. The burgers are where its at. If you are going to go out of your way to come here than it is going to be for the burgers. The time of your visit is key. During rush hours they sometimes precook patties. I've had burgers here that are dry and tough, and I've had some that are the juiciest most delicious burger I've eaten in months. Try to go when they are not busy to ensure your burger is cooked fresh. If you must go during the rush, be sure to request that your patties are cooked fresh. You won't piss off the cook. A man who cooks burgers for a living will respect people who don't settle for sub-par burgers. Let the people who come in after you get their food first, I promise you it will be worth it. If you get your food faster than 15-20 minutes, then be prepared to send back an old dry burger. As for everything else on their menu, I haven't had it so I cannot comment.

Awful. Customer service was HORRIBLE. We had eight in our group so we told them we were together - Wrong! Why they wanted to know is beyond me. We all waited over 45 mins. to get our food. When we did, some plates came out wrong, without fries. We finally went in and wanted to see the manager, but they sent his daughter out. She made excuses about why it was taking so long, i.e. the grilled chicken, short handed, etc.. It was so thin, you'd think it only needed a few minutes to cook. Didn't acknowledge the situation at all. Other customers that day complained as well. Some in our group got their money back but one didn't get her food at all! Needless to say, i will never return to this place. My chicken sandwich was bland and used cheap chopped lettuce.

YUM!!!!!. I'd been hearing so much about this place and how great their burgers were so I decided to head to Blake’s with a friend. We ended up not being in a burger mood so I ordered the catfish plate and she ordered the sausage and rib plate....then we shared. Oh.......MY......GOODNESS!!! The Catfish was some of the crispiest and flavorful fish I've had in a long time! My mouth is watering thinking about it! The sausage is so good, you won't even need to put any BBQ sauce on it, and the ribs are smoked just right and fall off the bone. Just to make sure I gave the burgers a fair try, I went back there over the weekend. I got the cheeseburger with onions, jalapenos, bacon, and pepper jack cheese.....YUM! It was seasoned very well and was cooked to perfection. I have to say though; while their burgers are divine......I don't know why they aren't well known for the catfish! I plan on having them cater our next office meeting. I can't wait!

Good food!. Great burgers and fries but WOW the fried catfish is great and so are the green beans!!! My husband and I eat at Blake's at least once a week for lunch. I recommend this place to friends and family. Everyone who has tried it loves it.

MMmmmm Good!. Picked up a pound of smoked turkey, potato salad and beans to bring home and avoid having to cook. WOW we loved the smoked turkey and I can hardly wait to try Blake's famous burgers. They also have the best Thanksgiving dinner meals ready to go.

Love the Food....Hate the extra charge for no reason.. I love the BBQ here, this family smokes it to perfection. He has a great technique for cooking his meat. I would give this place a straight 10 except:

I DO NOT like the fact that I have to watch them every time they ring up the order. Once I was charged for a piece of cake I didn't order.

Another time I was charged for a drink I didn't order.

Still another I was charged for fries I didn't order.

I talked to one of the owners about this practice, she said she make sure to tell her cashiers.

I went throught the Drive-thru last week and was charged an extra 50 cents. When I inquired about it she said it was for the to-go containers.

I went tonight....I was jones'n for that smoked BBQ. I was once again charged an extra 50 cents. When I inquired I was told I was being charged for to-go containers even though I was eating in. I was being charged JUST IN CASE I wanted a to-go container.

This is BS! It is called ripping your customers off. It is wrong....I do not care how great the food is, charging for items not recieved is stealing from your customers. They get away with it because the majority of people don't pay attention to thier prices or ask for receipts.

Just think if they charge everyone that comes to the door an extra 50 cents a day that is a huge profit. Lets say 150 people times 50 cents= $75 a day times 7= $525 a week.

As I have noted they sometimes charge more then 50 cents extra.

Excellent Burgers, Onion Rings and Ribs. I saw an employee of a retail tire shop eating a delicious-looking burger so I asked where he got it and he said Blake's on Jeanetta, so I went. Everything is delicious, but especially the burgers. The staff is very friendly. They even have homemade desserts like Sock It To Me cake, which tasted just like my mom's!

My new favorite BBQ place!. Blake's has great BBQ, potatoes and burgers, freshly cooked and served exactly like you want them. The brisket is so flavorful it never occured to me to pour sauce over it! The service is extremely friendly; they make you feel like part of the family. The prices are great and there is plenty of space to dine. There is a room in back where parties and meetings can be held and the staff is very accomodating. Extra parking is available behind the restaurant. Highly recommended!
