Very Good Tex-Mex. If you are looking for fine dining it is not the place to go. If you are looking for excellent & varied Tex-Mex it is the place to go.

The prices are reasonable. The food is varied as it has the usual Tex-Mex but in how many Mexican restaurants can you get green vegetables? How many Tex Mex restaurants offer broccoli? The bacon wrapped shrimp & filet are great. A good example is their fried shrimp. It is excellent & not what you would normally associate with Tex-Mex.

The margaritas have this thing in them called tequila which seems to be disappearing in too many restaurants.

Good Local Mexican Place. This place is what it is. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The food is cheap. The place can be quiet rockin' at times with the crouds and it is almost always someone birthday. I overall like the food a great deal; yes, the food isn't like pappasito's but hey, pappasitos is not always the best for what you get. The only reason that I have given this place a 4 is because the tamales are yuck (everything thing else I like a great deal) and the restrooms are not up to ADA compliance levels.

Good food, but fajitas not as good as Pappasito's. very cute atmosphere. esp. for birthdays as the waiters make you wear a sombrero while they chase you around the restaurant with a gag whip. the fajitas are pretty good but not super. their pork and fish are excellent. margaritas are okay. The place can be a bit rowdy and is not really that romantic

Good Value. When you don't go during the high peak Fri, Sat night hours, your usually seated very quickly and the staff is very courteous and attentive. Good Value.

SPICY FUN!. Great Mararitas, Birthdays are great, surprises on the menu-all from a little, dumpy place. TIP: Go to the one on FM 1092 at 59-it's better than the Fondren location. The fish is good; fajitas are wonderful, and generally just a really good experience at a cheap price. What Lupe Tortitas should be!

Great food, Fun times, low $$. Excellent Tex-Mex at reasonable prices in a always-fun atmosphere. Very noisy so don't take a romantic date here - do take a fun date - everyone enjoys Flats!
