Wonderful experience. Superb service. The lengua was awesome. Bistec encebollado was dry though. Will visit this place again. Good prices and servings.

The worst food I had in a while.
I had tried this lousy restaurant before, and I tried it again hoping for an improvement to not avail.
The food I ordered was a breaded pork chop. The coating used in the pork chop was heavy and thick and old, was fried in old oil and tasted likewise, it was served with a small salad with an indescribable horrible dressing , the side order of beans an rice had not taste at all, the service was terrible and to top it all the price was very high for the kind of food they dish out.
They are a disgrace to the colombian community at large, and Yes run don't walk, I mean run in the
opposite direction.
There are better restaurants serving Colombian fare in Houston.
NEVER AGAIN !!! UGH.

Try the churrasco.
Get the churrasco..it is an awesome steak.. ask for well or medium well unless you want red meat
I also love the tamal, arroz con pollo, arroz con camaron, juices, and lovely Latin women

A wonderful experience. Ok after reading these reviews I have to make some things clear. I visited Mi Pueblito restaurant recently and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I have never tried columbian food before then and didn't know what to expect. The dishes sound kinda gross but the waiter recommended a dish for us. When I say it was some of the best food I've tasted in a while...it was the best food I've tasted in a while!! The food reminded me of dishes of people of my background and it was delicious! The margaritas were delicious as well and customer service was very good. The price is a little high for the type of food I guess but I had a rather large plate of food with a LOT of different ingredients and could not even finish the plate. It was like 8 bucks...if that's expensive then you probably shouldn't eat at a restaurant and get fast food...

Horrible Customer Service. I am a business professional and one of our legal assistants is Columbian; so she insisted that we eat at this restaurant- let?s just say it was the WORST dining experience of my entire life! The restaurant is located in a decaying strip mall on Richmond Ave and the ambiance was reminiscent of a cheap taqueria. Our party also thought that the facility was not cooled properly (nearly everyone had to remove their jackets). The food was poorly seasoned and severely overcooked. The waiter wasn?t knowledgeable of the menu and was extremely slow. It took him over 15 minutes to get one person in our seven member party a drink from the bar. Finally, when we complained about the service the manager refused to apologize or even attempt to resolve the issue. If fact, the man was rude and even offended one of the Black attorney?s by telling her he wasn?t speaking to her when she attempted to explain the various problems with the service.

The patio takes you instantaly on vacation. You would never know what an amazing patio hides behind the rough street front view. The patio is amazing and instantly makes you feel like you're on a Mexian vacation. The food features fish and is amazing. The best part are the pineapple margaritas they server out of pinapples! YUM! I'm in love with this place.

Great for outdoor dining. This restaurant has a very nice patio and I have got to say..the best mojitos, I have not found a place that can mesure up to the real mojitos from Puerto Rico, but this place can! The food is not to great and I do agree it is pretty pricey. I have gone many occasions and the customer service is great!!

Horrendous Customer Service. This restaurant is located in a bad part of town. The food is also bland and tasteless. On top of that, on a specific occasion, the service was extremely slow and the manager/owner didn't step up to resolve an issue we had with the hostess. It is a pricey restaurant for the kind of food they serve and kind of people that manage it. Having been to this restaurant several times in the past, I can assure you that Mi Pueblito does not care for their customers nor for maintaining business with them.
