Excellent Alterations! Highly Recommended!!!. I have had several cocktail dresses altered at Linda's and most recently, a bridesmaid dress that had a complicated pattern with pleats and a lot of excess fabric. She reset the zipper and re-patterned the pleats to lay exactly how I wanted! The alterations came out perfectly and she knew just how to tailor the dress to fit my body! Very professional and courteous and done in a timely manner! I would HIGHLY recommend Linda's and will go there for all my alteration and tailoring needs!

WORST dry-cleaner. Took my wedding gown and my mother's formal gown to get dry-cleaned. Shockingly horrible service! They put both dresses into a machine instead of doing them by hand - this caused a lot of stitching on my wedding dress to come off!!! My mother's dress came back with stains that were not on the dress before. Moreover, they refused to even acknowledge these mistakes, and were very rude, going to the point of throwing us out of their store, saying "We will never do business with you again".

I later found out that they do not use filters to clean the dry-cleaning fluid before re-using it, and that is why my mother's dress came back with stains. It is called "deposition", and it is basically the dirt from other clothes they washed in dirty dry-cleaning fluid. This is unacceptable!

I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially not anyone looking to clean their wedding or formal gowns.

Also, I would make sure that they even have a permit to buy dry-cleaning fluid (it should be displayed on the front of the store).

Best Customer Service Ever!!. I usually don’t write reviews but I was so impressed with Ann at Linda’s Alterations. I have had a terrible experience with Mr. Santos in the Galleria area that I was too scared to look for anyone else. What a relief when I came across her business. From the moment I walked in Ann greeted me with sincere kindness and understanding what I needed done to my dress and even offered suggestions to make it even more beautiful. I was shocked when she told me the price. I was charged 4X that at Mr. Santos and she's doing twice the work on my dress. Thank you.

Great alteraion. Ann is the owner now of Linda's alterations in Woodlake Square, and she is lovely and talented. She has altered many things or me, and I am pleased with them all. I am very pickey about how things are done since I sewed myself for many years. Ann is willing to listen to what I want done, and she sews really well. I would recommend her to anyone in the area looking to have alteratios done.

Great alterations!. I just picked up my first batch of clothes that were altered by Linda and am really pleased! The work included jeans that needed hemming (original hem), various tops that needed hems or slimming, a long dress that needed hemming and a bustier that was too big. They all came out great, and the pricing was very reasonable.

Like many, I tend to have things in my closet that are well made, but simply not flattering. While some pieces may require alterations that are just too cost prohibitive (shame on me for buying them in the first place), others just need to be shortened or taken in. Now that I've found Linda, I'm just not going to settle for clothes that don't look fabulous!

Best wedding dress seamstress in Houston!. Linda is the BEST seamstress, especially if you are looking for wedding gown alterations. I had a very complicated dress (Maggie Sottero's Rhianna Royale), and I wanted a variety of things done to it, including a bustle, taking the neckline to a sweetheart shape, hemming the skirt and reshaping the skirt into a mermaid shape. Linda did all of this with such a sunny attitude and with tremendous skill! My dress looks better than I ever dreamed it could, and she did it for a fraction of the price that I would have paid at an upscale boutique. She definitely knows what she is doing, and she is one of the warmest and friendliest people around. Don't let the fact that her shop also functions as a dry cleaners deter you from using her for your seamstress needs. Her favorite thing to do is to alter wedding dresses, and she is one of the most meticulous seamstresses I've ever encountered! I couldn't be happier with Linda's services and will be recommending her to all of my friends in the future!!

Stop Looking! The Best for Alterations in Texas. I've been to several alterations in Houston, and never thought I would find one that Rocks like Linda's Alterations! I am so picky with my clothes and they are the best.. Everyone must go and see for themselves, the staff are so friendly, easy going, funny, and most of all trustworthy when they have your clothes! No one can beat their prices, (the best) over all. She has one employee that I always ask for when I come in, her name is "Ann" she is such an artist when it comes to alterations, very patient, the best I have ever delt with in Texas!! If anyone is looking for a friendly smile, they must go to Linda's Alterations!

My search for a good tailor stops at Linda's. I moved to Houston for about half a year and have changed three tailors: the one at the Galleria was too expensive and others didn't do a good job. I was so happy that I found Linda's. The best combination of price and quality so far. And the warmest of the owner there is a plus. She knows the customers by name. The first time I went back to pick my clothes, I didn't even have to give her my tickets. I admit that I'm a picky person - half a inch matters sometimes. However, I was very satisfied with their job for both times I were there. The skirt and dress they worked on are flattering. I found them through this website and I agree the previous review that the ppl there took time to measure and to listen to how you want the clothes to fit. That is very important to me. I also tried their dry clean. Price is great and clothes are well pressed. I'm very pleased with Linda's. Hope they continue with their good work!
