insurance is key. I've seen Linda and Sam as my primary care physician for 10 + years; my family even longer. I was disappointed this afternoon when attempting to make my anual physical appointment. Apparently, one must have their insurance card readily available before an appointment can be made. Never mind a decade as a loyal patient. I scrambled for a couple of minutes and was informed that my new plan is not covered. I recently switched to my wifes insurance plan 'United Health Care' and CLFP does not accept them. I must have been lucky that Cigna and CLFP worked out a deal that was mutually beneficial to both parties. Unfortunately, it's probably time for me to move on and find a primary care physician closer to downtown.
