Clear Lake neighborhood tavern with TV sports, jukebox, darts and regular drink specials.. In Short
Though many bars in this district have come and gone, this long-time favorite keeps getting more and more popular. There is booth and table seating inside plus an outdoor patio bar with picnic tables. A jukebox supplies the tunes, TVs broadcast major sports events and a dart board entertains the regulars. Over the years, the pub has become a rendezvous point for area students that have moved away for college when they come back home to visit.

Good Drink, Bad Service. They have a wide selection of beer, bottled and tapped.

However. The waitresses are a little upity and will tell you that they "work for tips", yet they will not work.

It's not a very clean enviroment, spilt beer all over, trash piled in corners of bathroom, and dirt on glasses.

I suppose it would be a good place to go when already drunk and aren't expecting your ash tray to ever be emptied.

Clear Lake Meat Market. It's a little-known fact that the site of Molly's Pub used to be the Clear Lake Meat Market. I can remember going there with my mom. How appropriate, considering what this place is now. I could do without the dart board and the crowd that draws, but it's still a great place to get a beer (they have a ton on tap) and see some old friends.
