“loved the decor and the atmosphere.”
“My dish was authentic and delicious!”
“best spaghetti ever for 5-6 bucks!”
Doing simple food incredibly well!. A landmark in the Clear Lake dining scene. Nothing too fancy, just good pasta and sauce. The owners make everything from scratch from the bread to the sauce. I believe the pasta is homemade as well.
Best Food All Around!`. I ordered takeout last night and loved it! The pizza is the best! You have to try the Lobster Bisque!
The Best in Houston....
This is a family owned and operated italian resturaunt. It is amazing! I have been going there since I was 8 yrs old, I am 21 now. They hand make everything... dressings, sauces, pizzas, they are incredibly authentic. This is by far my favorite resturaunt of all time. GO THERE!! They are a really small place... everyone that goes there has been going there for years... their parents brought them as kids and now they bring their kids.
Its an amazing place! Really cheap too! best spaghetti ever for 5-6 bucks! you cant beat that!
Clear Lake's traditional spot for laid back Italian lunches and dinners..
In Brief
With some 30 years in operation, the Coliseum is Clear Lake's oldest restaurant. The decor reminds diners of yesteryear, with ornate crown molding and arched doorways. The low-key family-owned-and-operated eatery serves up traditional Italian antipasto, pastas and sandwiches, along with fresh salads. Lunch is a la carte or cafeteria style. Popular dishes include the meat lasagna, ravioli and the veal and pepper sandwich.
An Old Standby. This is the oldest restaurant in the NASA area, I've eaten here for about 30 years. Down-to-earth Italian cafe -- not a glitzy national chain. Founded by a real Italian family, now passed on to the next generation. It's survived the test of time because it has good basic Italian food. At lunch they serve great Italian sandwiches and other dishes cafeteria style. In the evening it's regular sit-down table service. Their cheese ravioli melts in your mouth. Try their antipasto. We haven't tried anything we didn't like unfortunately they don't have tortellini :-)
