Yesterday, I had a cocktail dress that needed alterations pretty darn quick, I hung it in my car so I wouldn't forget to take it in to my usual alterations lady. I was expecting to pay around $50.00 and take a week or so to get it back. Which is typical. That morning I was at this bakery on Del Monte in Briar Grove and I saw this cleaners/alterations place. I took a chance and stopped in to see how soon they could alter the dress. The sweetest woman quickly pinned the dress and said she would have it ready by that day! I was amazed but fearful it would cost an arm and a leg. I asked her how much it would be and she said $25.00! (shortened the straps, took in the bust, and took in the waist) What a deal! When I picked it up today I brought in a pair of Rockin Republic cords and asked her to shorten the length. She said come back in an hour and it'll be $10.00. She does an amazing job and can work with any materials although I'm not sure about garments with heavy beading. I highly recomend her!
Pros: Fast Service, Quality Work, Excellent Customer Service
Cons: The shop doesn't have A/C.
