Longtime dance club for the 18-and-up set promises thumping hip-hop and club music for a crazy good time.. The crowds at this dance club have always been on the young side, but fans of the Crazy Coconut know that Friday and Saturday nights are right for dancing. The house DJs take advantage of the state-of-the-art sound system to pack the dance floor and rattle the walls with the lastest in Latin, hip-hop and reggaeton music. Three bars supply specialty cocktails, beer and tequila. There's also a VIP area above the main dance floor for more intimate seating and people watching. Frequent special events including wet T-shirt contests and live concert performances.

My favorite Houston Club. Let me first say that Coco Loco is not a latin music club, it's hip hop. It was the first Houston club I went to and It's my favorite out of all the others I have been to. I'm from Cali and I didn't expect it to be good, but it was. For the most part everyone there is just out to have a good time and dance. It has a way more relaxed atmosphere than Cali clubs and no pat downs, ha! There is a second room called the "freak room" which also plays hip hop. You can go in there to get away from the main dance floor or sit at a table and sip your drink. I met one of the DJ's, Mike Pierce and he's been a friend everytime I've been there since. I always meet cool people here.
