It takes mega patience to deal with my son and daughter who only seem to behave when they are in the presence of my mother. These women seem to have a gift to get your child to sit still while they cut their hair either by movies, games or lollipops. I've tried to get my kids to go a little closer to home but absolutely throw a tantrum unless they get to see Miss Judy. All I can say is, you get what you pay for and I only get the best haircuts for my children.
It doesn't take a genius to know how to write fake bad reviews and it doesn't take a genius to see that these bad reviews are simply advertising their own business. If you want my advice, just make an appointment and see for yourself. I could tell you how wonderful this boutique is OR you can see for yourself. Every time i have brought in my daughter we have been greeted warmly and she is treated nothing short of royalty.
When kids come here for a hair cut they get to watch a movie of their choice, lollipops (if its okay with the parents) to calm them and even get to play hand held games. If for any reason they have to wait there is a play room so the kids dont get bored. Judy is the most requested for a reason, she is one of the most patient people i have ever met. Yeah its $19 for the hair cut and its by appointment but if this place was as bad as some of these "reviews" state then the appointment book wouldnt be as full as it is. Everyone that brings their kids in for their first hair cut leave with a card certificate with the locks of hair attached. This place truly caters to their customers, dont believe me? Make an appointment and come see for yourself :)
best haircuts in town! – I can't believe when i read any bad reviews, especially abourthis place!! These women have the patience of saints and do a fantastic job!!! My child is dificult to say the least and Judy gets the job done..how I do not know...My other child uses Gitta and always looks good too...I would never go anywhere else!!!!
Very bad haircut – Me and my wife took our 13 month son for his haircut and had a very bad experience. They did not do a good job. Our son had his first haircut done at Cool Cuts 4 Kids and had a very good experience there. At Little lords and ladies the haircut was not even and not really worth the $19. It is better to avoid this place
Do not come here! – I took my son there for his first haircut because another parent referred me to this place and said they did a pretty good job. Maybe it was for them but the person who cut my son's hair, I think her name is Judy, did a horrible job. I think she was rushing because she had another appointment and finished within 10 minutes. I told her how I wanted it and she did not listen at all...She just cut and now my son has a bad haircut for his first haircut. $19 for 10 minutes of bad haircutting. Seriously. And at the end after we paid I noticed his bangs were uneven and was touching his hair. SHe saw me doing that and noticed the uneven line too and came out with some scissors to fix it. He has a rice bowl haircut that I could have done at home for free, and probably done an even better job. Please reconsider before trying this place out for the first time for your child's sake!
enjoyable experience – I don't have many friends who can say that having their two year olds' hair cut is an enjoyable experience. Just beware, on your way out you might be tempted to buy some of their really cute kids' clothes. By the way, the staff there are VERY polite, friendly and fun!
our best haircut ever!!! – We justmoved to town and little lords and ladies was highly recommended by several of our neighbors, I took my children there and it was a wonderful experience!! I have to say they were the best haircuts my kids have ever had and they were thrilled as was I. We will definetly be back next month!!!!! Thank you for having such a great store!!!
From a pretty picky mommy! – We recently moved here from out-of-state and had a hard time finding anyone willing to cut toddler hair at a regular salon. Probably understandable, since it's pretty hard to cut toddler hair in my limited experience with my daughter! We first went to one of the children's hair places in town that is a chain. The haircut wasn't bad, but it only styled one way and didn't look right a few weeks after it started to grow out. When we went to Little Lords & Ladies, we knew it would cost a little more than the standard kids' chain cuttery. It was worth it!
The ladies that cut hair there are extremely experienced - told me what I was doing wrong when I styled my daughter's hair and how to correct it. I could see how some people might find the input a little abrasive, but these people know what they are doing. My daughter's hair looks great and can be styled several different ways. The cuts last 6 weeks and look great the whole time. I wish my hair looked as good.
Bottom line: For a picky mom, this place is worth the $5 more over the chain.
BEST HAIR SALON EVER – I can not believe I just read such a bad review about Judy!!!! She had been cutting both my kids hair forever and she is fantastic...she knows her business and is friendly, fun and the kids adore her!!!! Granted no one is perfect, she should have been grateful she noticed it wasnt NOT perfect and fixed it!!!!! At any rate I would always give someone a second chance and not make such judgements especially when they are working with small kids....it sure didnt look easy to me!!!!!..... ALL and all WE LOVE HER AND LITTLE LORDS AND LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
